It's not good.

It adds about five quests on one island, you'll finish it in less than an hour.

I like these types of games and Hardspace was very titilating at the start.
Sadly it got old fast.
There is no variety only bigger and bigger ships, you don't even notice it. You literally have only have 4 different types of ships and as a PARTIAL LIST 13 different ship operators (ship operators does nothing, it literally just shanges a tag on the ship. Wow much variety, very lore).
Hardly any puzzles of disarming hazards. The only ones I can think of is the tier 2 reactor and fuel injectors.
The game feels like it only has 1/2-3/4 of the game finished.
The music while good lacks variety I feel like I've heard Cat's In The Cradle around 200 times, it motivated me to get hurt just so the radio would play something else even if it was for but a moment.
The industrial action mission was great and it is a cry and shame that it was only one mission.
It would have been a much more fun game if you didn't do the exact same thing every. single. time.
Even games like Viscera Cleanup Detail has some variety in the gameplay loop.
You could literally replicate this game in Space Engineers and it would have more things for you to do, just open up YouTube start acoustic version of Cat's In The Cradle play it on loop and start a level with ships and start dismantling them.

The game could be so much better if it had some more to do, different things to do, more things to listen to.
Maybe 4th tool to fill that empty slot, locked doors that require codes or risk destoying important items, salvage only certain types of material for certain contracts, fluctuating values for salvage on a stockmarket making you have to keep track on what to salvage per day making it more important to keep focus on what to do each day.
Maybe allow you to switch radio so you can listen to something else than Cat's In The Cradle.
Maybe have the radio chatter during the mission instead of an unskippable audio after the work day, I litterally had to sit there and listen to the preach about unionization.
I'm here to play a game not sit through a lecture on work associated ethics. I'm not againt the message, but at least let me do SOMETHING while they preach.

This game is meh. If you feel like trying it buy it when it is at 14€ or less.

Could do better with tutorials, I'm on the third game and still not sure if I'm doing things correctly. I am getting better though.

How fast will you turn into a monster?

With repentance it really hits you in the feels.

I spent a long time writing a long list of everything wrong with this game and it disappeared.
I'm not going to write all that again.
TL;DR version
Bots are ♥♥♥♥.
Bots don't STFU and flame YOU even though they are the ones that keep dying and failing to perform simple prioritizing.
You can't finish this game solo. and is a 4 player game despite what reccomendations say.
Extreme grind to unlock items, costumes and ships and more grind to collect gold to then unlock them AGAIN so you can actually use them.
No mod support.

Don't buy this game, there are way better things you can spend that money on. Even if you own every single other game, spend that money on something else, it will make you happier.
