This is a tactical and team focused first person shooter.

The game runs on the Source engine and originated from CS as a mod that gained such a huge fan base that they made a full game out of it.

The game had a rough start though. It began as a kickstarter which failed but they became a shining example of what early access can accomplish.

It has some daring features that other devs simply wouldn't do. Limited HUD, a focus on communication, teamwork and realism across the board. Tight controls and good performance adds to the overall experience as well.

They also release all of their updates for free with bug fixes, AI improvements, maps, guns and even game new modes. I have the feeling that a lot of AAA studios could learn from this Cough...EA...Cough.

This is the studios first product so the few and tiny issues I personally have with the game can easily be patched out.
