We live in a time of great fitnah—trials and temptations. To protect our faith, we must avoid corrupt environments and surround ourselves with righteous companions. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, “A man follows the religion of his close friend...” (Tirmidhi). Hold firm to the Qur’an and Sunnah, pray consistently, and seek Allah’s help through du’a. Learn beneficial knowledge and busy yourself with the Qur’an to stay focused. If you’ve fallen into fitnah, repent sincerely, change your environment, increase good deeds, and find the root cause to guard against it. May Allah protect us and preserve our faith.
