Perfect dlc. Loving every bit of it. That last boss was hard. I really shouldn't have gone the whole thing with only beast claws but I'm stubborn and wanted +0 weapons to pass down to my twink.

To those complaining about performance issues, I really have no idea what you are talking about.

Played on ryzen 7 cpu with 2080 card. No issues. Other than sometimes the game doesnt open first try. No biggie.

A lot of the reviews are pretty long winded so let me sum it up here. Warlords is not like stronghold 2, its more like stronghold crusader. with less focus on economy and more focus on warfare. That being said, the lack of many systems is still concerning. No gong, crime, rats. feasts, honor, or entertainment. Many are disappointed in the fact that this game has much less going on then previous titles. The complaints are all true. In 2021 we expected the game to be more than its predecessors and not less. We expected more units, more buildings, and new ways to run the economy and topple your enemies. more systems in place to drive home the idea that this is a castle sym. But we got far less. It really sucks to boot this game up and see a reskin of crusaders with more limitations than ever before, and not a new game with new concepts.

Also side note, the warlords system is very bad. poorly implemented, and a pain to play around. "foreign diplomats have arrived" "foreign diplomats have arrived" "foreign diplomats have arrived" "foreign diplomats have arrived" "foreign diplomats have arrived" "foreign diplomats have arrived" "foreign diplomats have arrived" "a lord is courting us" "foreign diplomats have arrived" every time you hear this you have to stop what you are doing, open a menu, and click a button. Then you have about 10-20 seconds before it happens again. Its just BAD. I can say nothing good about it.

Now I'm going to rant. Remember all the old units? what happened to engineers? to being able to throw rocks or burning logs or hot oil down your walls. being able to build spike traps AND oil traps. Being able to put braziers on your walls to have fire arrows. being able to mount your lord on horseback, and being able to mount and unmount troops on horseback. remember when you could dig a moat? or have a second castle entirely with escape paths and secret gates to get you there if your first stronghold failed? Or remember killing a lords castle and economy, driving out all of his people with disease and not having to kill a single troop? remember being able to build a sizable defensive army, AND a sizable attack force without hitting the troop limit? Remember Gong, rats, crime, entertainments, honor, feasts, executions, marriage, churches and candle makers. decorations, flags, statues etc... Wooden walls!?! So much is missing from the new game. along with the sense of life in your little castle. its gone. and replaced with mediocre things at best. Temples do a poor job of replacing churches. and offer nothing to play with. with churches you could have half mass, full mass, double mass like with the rations. you might say that tea replaced that but in the old game you had ale and taverns that worked the same... no, they were much more in depth than tea houses. you had to balance having enough hops farms, breweries, and taverns to cover your peoples thirst and territory. not just a bunch of tea farms and a single tea house. food production was more complex too. you had royal food only for feasts and gaining honor, and food production came in steps. you had to kill pigs from your pig farm to make leather, reducing your food gain from the farm. you had to grow wheat, build a windmill, and employ bakers to make bread. 3 buildings for a single food type. it was more fun and had more to manage and think about. more to do and build, and many more ways to run your economy. there are just only a few ways to play the new game.

Okay okay i didn't sum it up. just too many thought the more i think about the game.

Look at my hours. Believe me when i say this is the best pvp fighting game ever made. i feel sorry for you if you played the game, but missed out on the pvp. the community is still there, you can still experience it. if you like For Honor, Morhau, mount and blade, or any fighting game. you will enjoy it. make your own build and character, and the possibilities are almost endless. those hours i have in the game are real. This has been my mmo. the community is amazing. 10/10 would sink another 1000 hours in.

you know, i have to say. i own this game and Jedi Outcast on cd, and have put 1000's of hours into both of them. they are amongst my favorite starwars games, ever made. get them, and play them, and don't forget to use dismemberment cheats in outcast, and a dismemberment mod for academy, (also rebind force pull to mouse wheel down, and force push to mouse wheel up.) What enabling dismemberment in these games does, is remove the hitbox during saber swings, and instead, have the samer constantly do near insta kill damage to anything it hits. therfore, you keep the animations from swings, but they become more diverse, allowing you to use the animations in unique ways to hit enemies all around you. it also affects enemy jedi the same way, making saber duels much like the movies, first one to get hit, loses something. add in a plethera of fun cheats, and the game never gets old. Never before have you felt like such a legitimate jedi. with all the powers available to you, there is so much that you can do, you'll never want to stop playing. Imagine being able to ligning a room full of baddies into a corner, or backflip shop a guys head clean off, or force push a rocket back into someones face. well you can. but you can do more than that. Try force choking a tough enemy, jumping 3 stories into the air, and force pushing them upwards so high, that the fall kills them shortly after you land. Try slowing down time with force speed, and running around with a rocket launcher, firing one shot at everyone in a room, then speeding up time again to watch them all die at once. Try dueling an enemy jedi with dismemberment on. try turning off enemy targeting in the console, along with noclipping, and setting up unique encounters with enemies in levels you've allready played. you can even set up boss fights as you play through the game over, and over again. try spawining in a bunch of enemy sith in the next area, then going back where you were, and spawing in a ton of friendly jedi. then you adventure into the craziest battles you've ever seen, and i cant stress this enough, with dismemberment, these fights are thrilling and nuts. try accidently cutting off your allies head, or watching a sith do the same. try force choke, into backflip insta kill. try everything.
