Unfortunately, I would leave a genuine review for this game if I could play without having a tiny resolution.

Both Borderless Fullscreen and Fullscreen do not work a the moment, and even changing the windowed resolution makes it impossible to navigate the menu correctly.

I have tried forcing BFullscreen and Fullscreen and it hasn't fixed it for me.

Will leave actual review when fixed.

It is honestly sad and depressing that the game that I once no life for 4 years straight and would constantly be waiting to get off of school to play has fallen so low. What was once sprawling maps with beautiful environments is now cluttered with wonky lighting, and so much foliage that even NASAS super computers cannot run them well. I always felt that Ark: Survival Evolved could have been optimized better but Ark: Survival Ascended makes evolved look like it runs perfectly. Another thing that saddens me is the way that the devs force the PVE and PVP playerbase apart with DLC like Bob's Tall Tales and the Pyromane since anything they put a paywall on is extremely busted as well as the fact that animals that you don't own the DLC for still appear in game online or not and also cannot be tamed as if it was a tease that you can't own the animal by any means. I remember trading for dinos that I didn't own due to not owning the maps or even spawning them in on single player just to screw around. All of that is now gone with the sick money grab that Snail Games and Wildcard have shoved upon us. The new dinos and content do the opposite of making up for bad optimization, it makes it feel like the game isn't genuine anymore and that the game doesn't exist to please a fanbase anymore but to fund Ark 2.

I wish that Studio Wildcard can see through our eyes as consumers and realize what heap of coding garbage that they have released to us and fix it. Maybe then I won't mind booting up the game again and playing through some of my favorite maps. But for now, I will stick to Ark: Survival Evolved as it just plays better and isn't bogged by money hungry intentions.

it is a good game, once you get over the crashes and bugs. If you can work them out that is. But once that is over you get an sophisticated Sandbox RPG.

Absolutely awesome! if you want a fun but at the same time serious game this is the one! Honestly if you want a more sandbox and goofy saints row play 3 or four but as a saints row fan, this is the golden saints row game.
