very fun game! feel's very half-life in a lot of ways, they really captured the feeling of them. the level themes are cool, there's some terrifying bits, and of course its so fun to play with friends.

This game, especially for an early access game, is soooo fun especially with friends. the devs are working hard to improve it constantly, and there's a robust building system that is very engaging.

ive played this game since 2004 and its had its ups and downs but right now the game is going in a good direction and doesnt seem to be producing a bad product. i would totally suggest grabbin it, and if you like it try the membership. its a very fun game

Amazing game! If you like strategy games, you really need to check this one out. I spent around 800 hours on it before I ported over to steam, and it's just a fantastic dynasty simulator (there's more to it than that, but the one essential goal is to keep your dynasty alive and in power).

2018 UPDATE:
Still my favorite game. The various new updates and DLC are really good and i can see myself playing this for another decade. If you like 4X games this is a MUST! Paradox Dev team is fantastic, and the community for their games is unlike any other.

2019 UPDATE:
Well it's Free to Play, and i think anyone who is remotely into 4X games should play this game. You lose out on a lot by not having the DLC, however just as an initial "toes-in-the-water" test, you can live without them. I still recommend this game!
