I couldn't even get into a match. Even one that was almost empty. Every time it would say the server was locked or full. Even when a game was launched I couldn't get in the spectate mode. This is a great idea...but without dedicated servers its bad.
In this day and age its best to not waste time anymore. I cant afford to.

I Spent SO MUCH money on the collectors edition only to realize this game...was a huge disappointment. I love Homeworld and I have been playing it since I was eight years old. I am a huge Homeworld fan that I have both the remastered and Homeworld three collectors editions. I also have the table top RPG and make my friends play it with me. I also ordered the board game from Kickstarter last year and purchased the collectors admiral edition. That is how much of a fan I am of this series...

I am going to start with the cons. It is sadly not what I was expecting. As a long time veteran of the series. They turned the game down in difficulty to make it more of an entry level RTS. All the things that made homeworld fun, hard, and challenging turned into a for everyone easy to play non-exciting slug fest.

The fighters are boring to use and die so quickly, there are no evasive maneuvers or dodging. The dog fighting is stagnant and feels like everything is slow and just shooting at each other.
The unit variety is GONE. They made it too simple.
The Mission story is a repeat of the second and the characters other than intel are boring and the story is repetitive. (I am halfway through the game and I have not had that craving to go back.)
The lack of multiplayer maps are limited and weak.
The ai just flies straight at you and there is no surprises. Even the campaign missions are like...oh no could have seen that coming.

The pros... the music is great. The art and visuals are fantastic. THIS GAME CAN BE FIXED! IT CAN BE FIXED!!!

Literally this game is hit or miss with a squad. Hit or miss with a server. I joined a great squad we were doing some fire and maneuver flanking an enemy squad. I got banned for killing someone. I GOT BANNED FOR 1 HOUR! Because he died on an Official HLL Server. Literally they voted yes on me because I was doing well. I was playing as a medic and i got 5 kills in a row because they were not hiding very well. ♥♥♥♥ this game.

I have played for 50 hours. I haven't stopped playing every moment. I have free I am on this game right now. I expect to put several hundred hours into this game. THIS IS BETHESDA!

Pros: Its simple enough this is a Bethesda game. I expected a great story and amazing side quests and characters. I mean they haven't disappointed. The main quest isn't the draw in this game however its the many missions you stumble across as you explore the universe. The expectation that you would be able to fly seamless is silly to me because the way Bethesda games works is they usually have separate areas loaded so anything you do is saved to that area.
Cons: THE LOADING SCREENS do get annoying when you get to the flow and need to fly from here to there to here to there. Some of the animations for getting in the pilot seat could be either sped up or removed completely. I think that its pointless to show me getting in the seat in 3rd person and slows the experience down ruining the immersion.
The other thing I hate is the UI. I find it hard to navigate at first. Its easier now that I have experience but I feel like a better way to organize the inventory could have been implemented. WHAT happened to the junk button where you can mark everything you didnt want anymore as junk. Why can't I sort my gear from best to worse? Little things like that. Overall I would say its an 8/10. BUY it anyway and dont listen to people.

Do you like DnD? Do you like running around click on everything? Do you like the endless reading and talking to NPC's? DO YOU LIKE TO ROLL FAKE MAGICAL DICE!? DO YOU LIKE TO RUN EVEN MORE USING CLICKS OF THE MOUSE! DO YOU LIKE MAGICAL STUFF? DO YOU LIKE PRETTY GRAPHICS!? Yeah me too...this game is really well done and thought out. It has an awesome storyline that is confusing and intriguing and filled with mini stories and intrigue which is handled so well and precisely what the single player genre needed.

Despite popular belief that the campaign is utter garbage I can say that as a long standing Total War fan from the beginning that this game provides a unique perspective in a total war narrative driven campaign. It allows you some freedom while giving you a goal to follow with a pretty unique campaign based off whatever faction you choose. Most factions provide various ways to play which I hope will carry over to the Mortal Empires campaign which should come eventually. The updated detail to the campaign map along with the easy to use diplomacy in my opinion refresh the Warhammer Campaign bringing new life. I hope it carries over to the Extended free play campaign because this is one Giant Ice Bear of an add-on!

The Game has finally reached the point of Awesome Scary! I would write a better review but I am too lazy. I don't recommend playing alone. ITs way more fun with friends.

I have been a long time fan of Mount and Blade Games. I really enjoy them and NOW its to a point where the game has been patched and updated to a more stable enjoyable game. Can't wait for new updates and to see what else they come out with.

This game...can go grab a big bag of %$#$ yourself. Buy it...pee yourself enjoy it....regret it...move on with life...forever paranoid.
