Honestly, this is a very fun game, but should be played with friends.

Now, I've played Dungeon Defenders for a much longer amount of time on Xbox 360 (1,000+ hours) and I must say, Dungeon Defenders is one of the most addictive games I've ever played.

It's worth your time and your money, even if they've stuffed it full of DLC. I purchased the full package, game and DLC, on sale for $15. To be honest, I don't believe anyone should buy the full collection, as it's not worth $50 for an overwhelming amount of content that even the most hardcore player may not enjoy. My recommendation is that, if you desire to purchase any DLC, get the new heroes and the Quest for the Eternia Shards pack, and nothing more. There are some boards or heroes that I would also recommend, but this is a guide to maximum fun for minimum price.

Even then, the game itself can be played for thousands of hours and not become stale. The game is highly re-playable due to better gear on higher difficulties and the well-done leveling system. Some may consider it a grind, but personally, beating levels again and again was pretty enjoyable.

Summary/TL:DR - Get the game and the Quest for Eternia Shards DLC and the game will be highly enjoyable. 9/10

Got this in a Humble Bundle, however I would pay full price for how good this software is.

Bought the game and thought it was pretty good at first (it has really nice pixel art), but over time it became a drag. Repetitive combat, annoying skill decay, and a few other factors made it overall a less than mediocre game. The ending was also very unsatisfying and a bit confusing. I mean, seriously, "To Be Continued"? You just don't add that to a game. Don't recommend to anyone in general.

Unforgettable gameplay, lovable characters, a good sense of humor, a unique combat system

Just what I want in a game.
