When I got the game at release I was having a lot of fun with it. It reminded me a lot of Wipeout and MXC. A cute and fun competition game.

So now I am going to whine about it.

Now that time has passed, people are more skilled at the game. More so, people are better able to find ways to grief others. It's a competition game, yeah, but when players utilize the limited controls and the map designs to force eliminate you just because they were ahead of the pack, it's frustrating. Slime Climb is the prime example. It's so chaotic at the start a few people will manage to get up while others are knocked around. Then at the bumper walk you'll get grabbed, slip and fall to the gum. Or at the log jump players will wait on the center piece, some times in groups of 3 and make sure you fall off.

There is too few games. See-saw is annoyingly long and boring. Fruit drop or whatever it's called is a game of random chance, same as Tip-Toe and the dumb Wall Race game. No sill required, just good luck! You can have a team of great players or pepegas in Fall Ball. And I have great internet, but the amount of times in any of the Tail Tag games I've lost my tail from someone not even connecting with my character model is just a poor sign of game server to game client connection. And then the most boring game(beside See-saw) is the memorization game. And that's another game where people will get aggressive and start knocking people off.

The game went from just casual fun to cutthroat competition. It's no longer relaxing. It's irritating.

Hard pass from me.

I bought the game feeling I'd love it's charm and unique nature. It's just a drag. Even if I am still interested in the idea of a game that takes months of waiting to complete, the game world is not alive. The walking is dull. There is just not enough interesting things happening to enjoy myself. Exploration doesint even feel rewarding as the game world is small. It feels big because you crawl everywhere.

Waiting 10 minutes to go from one part of the cave to the other is tedious. Any time you have to play another game while you wait for your game to do something is bad.

Having a fully implemented idea on making your home cave a farm would have fixed it. This art project is just that. And in my subjective opinion it's bad art.

I recommend it as it can be a useful questionnaire to give you an introspective look. There were a few questions I had to consider the reality of the question versus the fantasy of it. I bought the game hoping for some chills but it ended up being something else. It's like scrolling through an image board and catching something that reminds you to do something you always do.

Either way. It was a dollar which is like 6 minutes of work and I got 22 minutes out of it. So it was okay.

I come back to this game occasionally. It's the only survival builder I feel is worth anything. Only wish for a few more biomes. But it's good times.

Hey. Welcome to Do Not Feed the Monkeys. Our organization is here for one purpose. To be excellent voyuers. At first you will definitly feel the pinch as managing all the resources might be stressful. But within little time as you follow the Cages you've purchased, you can find the best time to get some shut eye, eat fruits and chicken and work jobs that pay higher then the hour amount. Keep that in mind. Munching on fast food and swigging coffee will be bad for your heart.

You start with minimal cages to watch, generally two active cages and two passive ones. You can follow the action as your computer will play a ping when something happens. Curse that damn Microwave Girl tho! She always makes the ping. In any case, you will watch memorable characters and it's up to you to do nothing but watch them...

... but honestly. We want to mess with them. We want to learn about that sweet old man who is not a dictator and just wants to tend to kittens. We want to stop the plant monster. We want to get that sweet blackmail money and we want to bring HER home! Of course, there are different paths you can take with your cages. Each playthrough will promise variety. The ones you've done before will be easier cash grabs or a time to experience different outcomes.

Overall I really loved this game and I am happy to promote it with this simple review. Enjoy and remember. Do Not Feed The Monkeys. (But totally do it!)

I wanted to recommend this game. However, here I am. After playing for nearly five hours and being highly invested in what was going on, solving the games puzzles (as they are) and overall having dialogue options that I like to pick. I find that in the end the game became a big let down. It bothers me how much of a mood swing it ended up being for me.

I wont spoil anything, of course. But above where I mention my choices feeling like that are what I'd pick? Really? In the end it's not a thing. The horror aspect of this game is great in the sense you have no idea what has happened to Anna. The game leaves you clues along the way that can lead you to theories. You feel great when you can take what the game shows you and thirty minutes later you get a sense of satisfaction knowing you were able to collect the clues correctly.

Yet, in the end. It does not matter. To say I dislike the ending of this game and that is why I am giving this the red thumb is true. 5 hours of an adventure down the rabbit hole was not enough for me to wash the bad taste out of my mouth from my finale experience.

Regardless, I look forward to what Kaigan Games does in the future. The world building for this game was good, until... well.. the end.

Sigh.

There are way better detailed reviews to read then whatever I write. So I will write for the simple people who need a review on the go.

Game is worth 1 hour of your bi-weekly paycheck.
You'll get more then a year out of that hour of hard work if you like social-deductive games.
It's way flashier, more fun, more complex and far more rewarding then Town of Salem.
The game has materials at your disposal at all times so you can figure things out if you get confused.

Only downside? No stats. Please gif stats! <3 stats!
