I've always enjoyed Monster Hunter games, and I think this one is my favorite so far! Because it's on PC, I was able to introduce the Monster Hunter series to friends who had never played the previous games (and probably never would have, since they don't really play on consoles). It runs great on my computer, the combat is a lot of fun, and the skill curve is fantastic; You'll get noticably better at the game over time, and it feels great to down a monster you had been having trouble with previously.

The $60 price tag may not be for everyone, especially if they're on the fence about whether or not they'd like the game. I think it's definitely worth picking up while it's on sale, though.

Really fun little game with a lovely art style. It was pretty easy for me to lose track of time while playing it. Definitely worth the $10!
