Fun game. There were moments where I felt pretty bad ass. Scientist boi kickin' military & alien ass. I think it's best to run and gun in this game. Don't stress over the stragglers.
My only issue is that the FOV made me feel sick and the default FOV slider can only go up to 90 max. 106 FOV was where I could comfortably play the game with no issue. You can reach that FOV by using console commands. But one problem with this solution is that you have to constantly reapply the command after every game restart or when loading into a new area.
Said console command: sv_cheats 1; fov 106.26
Maybe there's a better solution, but this is what worked for me.

Fun, cute bullet hell game. Too bad I never got to finish the last boss fight since I accidentally lost my save. :[
But besides that it's a real blast to play.
