The Callisto Protocol is to Dead Space 2 what The Evil Within is to Resident Evil 4, except The Evil Within is a much better game. After all the patches, It's a solid space horror. Jacob deserved a better ending, Josh Duhamel did a good job.

Intriguing. Phenomenal. Thrilling. Beautiful. The same applies to Death Stranding.

I beat RE2 half a year ago and I was a little bored so I put the game aside for a while. Maybe it wasn't the right moment. If I had written a review then I would have given it a lower score. But games are not movies and in order to get a real and complete impression, it is necessary to devote time and explore gameplay and its hidden mechanics.

The police station is the best and definitely the most fun part with plenty of options available on how to defeat the zombies that bite real hard and escape the Terminator-like pursuer. Sewers and the lab are okay but not memorable, the orphanage is an interesting location with a detailed interior, I wish I had spent more time there. It is also a real shame that Ada is playable for about 5 minutes.Zombies are again relevant, unpredictable and dangerous, Capcom did a tremendous job in depicting the degeneration and destruction of human bodies. Visually, RE2 is spectacular, I like the blue color palette, the design of the characters is phenomenal, but I didn't have the impression that the game takes place during the late 1990s. The weapon design is also great and I would especially like to point out the Colt Single Action Army revolver with which I had a lot of fun. Too bad there is no spaghetti cowboy poncho costume. Like I said, the player has a lot of choices available from cold steel to numerous firearms, careful planning where to go or avoid zombie bites when they are close but I also missed some block or dodge button, I think that would make boss fights better. Yes, lickers are the ruthless and most brutal enemies in the game. The bosses are mediocre and sometimes irritating but it’s cool that they can be tricked or cheesed out. AB scenarios are my biggest complaint, they are too similar (almost identical), narratively illogical and instead of 4 campaigns we actually have 1 and a half.

I enjoyed RE2, it's great, but find it a little overrated at the same time. The curiosity is that RE7 is a better game for me even though I wanted something like this when RE7 was announced. Probably because RE7 is a little different. RE2 is - I've been there, done that.

A strong introduction, but only if you play everything it contains: each mission for an S-Rank, exploring an entire U.S. military camp and discovering the hidden secrets. Gameplay is sooo good...

If you only go through the GZ's main mission once then you are really going to complain that this is just a paid demo. Cassettes are incredibly interesting to listen to, particularly Paz's Diary (how beautifully her character is told in those few tapes). It tells a nice backstory especially for those who haven’t played PEACE WALKER.

THE EVIL WITHIN 2 introduces a lot of changes. Sebastian was a hardboiled detective, a man of few words, and now he suddenly talks a lot and expresses his feelings, a malicious person would say he's a whiner, but despite that he is still one tough cowboy who is also a caring father. The sequel adds more depth to the characters that was not presented in the first game, but it’s a less creative with the character/environment designs and craziness and goes more in the urban sci-fi direction than towards gritty horror. The game is without doubt more comfortable to play but that doesn’t mean the gameplay is better, the first EVIL WITHIN is a lot harder and has a deeper combat system. The story is straightforward and conventional with a plenty of expositional dialogues. It strives for optimism, family, love, logic, everything must be explained, which in most cases is typical American storytelling (the director and screenwriter are Americans this time). Everything will be alright tells the story of this game. Some will like it and some will look for more mystery, darkness, ambiguity and philosophizing (Asian and European narration). It depends on what you prefer. Nonetheless, the ending is very sweet and touching, and no matter how different they are in writing, I highly recommend both games and I hope that one day there will be a third. It would be silly to drag Sebastian into everything again, other characters have the potential to be new protagonists and antagonists

I'm looking at you, Joseph Oda.

You get 9 bullets from Mikami-san and you have to figure out how to dispatch 15 enemies. But wait, there's more... the boss is waiting right around the corner to tear you apart.

5/5 one does not simply walk into THE EVIL WITHIN

After many unsuccessful attempts in the last 30 years to make a video game from this popular post-apocalyptic franchise, in 2015. we got an adaptation made by a Swedish developer. This game also had troubled production. George Miller and Cory Barlog (GOD OF WAR) were supposed to do MAD MAX however the unfortunate circumstances and complications surrounding the filming of FURY ROAD angered Warner Bros. who no longer wanted to invest so much money, forcing Miller to devote himself only to film, Barlog left the project after that and WB forwarded the game with ideas and concepts from that previous project to Avalanche Studios.

I have to admit that I am positively surprised because the Swedes did a good job. This version of Max is not Mel Gibson but he is definitely better than Tom Hardy and his character traits are well written. The world is visually impressive, fun and chaotic, full of fanservice and if it weren't for the annoying grinding and unresponsive fist fights, this would be an even better game. While this is a good title I will always wonder what it would be like if the game was made by Barlog and Miller, were we able to get ALIEN ISOLATION level of quality?

ISOLATION is the best in the ALIEN franchise since 1986. I would dare say this is on a par with the first 1979 movie. They really nailed the atmosphere and alien is a monster again - an unstoppable terror that constantly hunts a player, not a crunchy bug that someone can blow its head off with a shotgun. It's a shame that movie fans who don't play video games can't experience this. Man I wish someone would make the right TERMINATOR/MAD MAX game adaptation.

A must-play for any fan who don't suffer from heart problems.

The most important video game I have on Steam, a game that built my Steam profile and introduced me to a bunch of friends a few years ago. The main story is good and I think REVELATIONS was the prototype for the RESIDENT EVIL 2 REMAKE, don't forget that it was a glimmer of hope at a time when the series lost its identity. But the real thing here is Raid Mode, Capcom's best RESIDENT EVIL "mini-game". Raid Mode can even be a standalone title because it provides a ton of fun and things to do. If you completely master it, you will go through the most difficult obstacles like a fast Japanese train and you're gonna enjoy it. REVELATIONS 2 is nowhere near as hardcore and super special awesome as the original.

When the game was announced I was very disappointed (even hated it) that the old lead characters are missing and there is no third person view. Boy was I wrong. RESIDENT EVIL 7 is a fantastically designed and polished soft reboot set in TRUE DETECTIVE Louisiana, and to me the swamps, scary hillbillies, Voodoo and mysterious wilds of the American South have always been the perfect place for something dark and sinister. Although it looks different on the surface, essentially this is a true RESIDENT EVIL with familiar gameplay systems, mechanics and other things we like or maybe dislike. It takes a deeper game experience to see all the magic.
