Cons:
- Online at all time (or get a popup lol)
- Taken through everything like a baby, dumbs down the game to a long QTE
- Hand to hand is litteraly a QTE
- Just standing somewhere will make people suspicious up to the point where they might shoot you
- On the other hand you can come and go trespassing a restricted zone, in front of a guard, 50 times, and nothing will happen
- Shooting is hilarious, thanks to the 3rd person camera you can shoot while being entirely under cover, the gun will magically shoot behind walls and AI will just charge you
- Game gives you additional "Challenges" when the game itslef should already be a challenge
- Regeneration à la Call Of Duty, makes any combat encounter negligeable as you do not have any penalty for taking damage.
- Tutorial popup requires to press Enter to skip
- First missions are supposed to be fake assassinations / reconstitutions, yet you can murder everyone and escape in a wooden helicopter. Way to break any immersion / seriousness
- Graphics are somewhat unoptimized at some points, especially heavy aliasing (even with maxed AA) and drops framerates (60 fps dropping to 20). Also happens during cinematics, beautiful 20 fps cinematics
- The main menu is a _s h i t s h o w_, the only thing that should be dumbed down is now overloaded (also don't forget about that sweet microtransaction ad)
- Still have no idea how to boost difficulty
- Missions are sold as having a lot or replayability to excuse their pitiful number

Pros:
- You can tweek the HUD and disable all help, virtually increasing difficulty (just makes missions longer, not really harder)
- The item throwing is fun
- Melee animations are fun

----------------------------------
EDIT: After playing some more, here are additional points:

Cons:
- The key to silently incapacitate someone is the same snapping an unconscious person's neck. Hence, hitting the key several time in the midst of a fight will probably snap an innocent's neck (gotta commend 47 on that impressive skill) and ruin your no save + no innocent kill run.
- I have yet to see a mission where being compromised has a bigger consequence than the VIP hiding in a predefined spot. idk, after I killed 300 civilians and 100 security details, escaping would seem like a great idea...

Pros:
- Throwing axes and swords into people is really fun
- Bashing people with axes and swords is really fun
- Hearing NPCs reactions to you ridiculously murdering people with axes and swords is really fun
- Some challenges will unlock new gear, some of them being ridiculous which is fun.

I got banned for using words in my native language that are not even slurs.
I also saw someone get banned for saying the name of South Park's Cartman super hero name... Which is included in another game published by Ubisoft.

If I were to use slurs, with all my 4 squad mates, which would be my friends, I would get banned... Slurs I even use on a daily basis, in a professional environment...

Some, that I find horrendously offensive, will not be part of that auto ban.

Not using accents seems to work around the system, good job since I'm French and no one even know where to put accents in words anymore.

Thanks to you I can easily finish my ranked matches by tricking the opposing team when I __Communicate__ with them like:
"what that british slang for cigarette?"
"what cartman's superhero name?"
"what is black in spanish?"
...

If your goal is to remove __Communications__ you can just remove ALL chats and replace it with a dumb emote wheel à la HearthStone

How hard was it to just censor the "offensive" words and put a warning for the player? You know just like Steam does? Replace it with hearts and nobody will come ♥♥♥♥ on your face. (saw that??)

The worst in all of this is that Ubisoft and R6 team are arrogantly standing by this ridiculous ideology pushing politic, alienating their own community.

What Ubi wants is not a community, they want a brainless mass to pay for their games.

That game was my last transaction with Ubi, and no rollback / update / apology will absolve them of such behavior.

-------------------------------
EDIT 18/07:
So, I played a bit and was amazed that absolutely no one spoke, no text chat and no voice chat.
Ubi managed to take the "tactical" part out the game and out of the community...

You can check this collection full of bigots and racists getting well deserved justice:

-------------------------------

Ho, and about the game itself?

Cons:
- Grind to unlock characters
- Worst netcode for a competitive game
- Loot boxes and skins (not as invasive as OverWatch but still ridiculous)
- Community is full of children (which should not legally be allowed to play), foreigners (that will spam vocal / text chats with their alienating language), toxic players (that their system will never ban) and cheaters that you cannot report for cheating.
- Worst text chat in a video game since the dawn of video games:
-- No chat history: Your message disappears ~5 seconds after being written... forever... was it too long for you to read? Were you clutching and not looking at the chat? Too bad
-- No spam block: Someone can simply spam with spaces
-- No more than ~8 messages in the box: A lot of activity? Someone spamming with spaces? your message will simply disappear into oblivion
-- No muting the text chat: that spammer? He'll be here until the very end
- You can't give reason for kicking a player (for your mates or for history purpose) and you need 100% of your team to vote him out. Does he have a friend he tagged with? His mate will vote no... no kicking for this toxic player...
- Some ops are way too OP or essential (hard breach + gadget denial) or straight up useless (лорд)
- No SinglePlayer (Terrorist hunt is a lie, you get next to no reward for winning a game meant for 5 players)
- Daily "quests" that require you to play their uninteresting PvE mode (Terrorist Hunt)
- Chimera operation special PvE missions were removed.
- The Starter edition multiplies grind by 50 (no joke) and you CANNOT upgrade

Pros:
- Some nice people
- Mechanics were (mostly) well designed
- Constant updates (in the form of "Operations")
- Chimera special missions were fun imo (not like Terrorist Hunt)
