Dlc are alright since each oen represents dozens of free patches and upgrades and invested time from the developers.

Some peopel complain that you need to buy the older versions, but you don't, each game has base races and dlc races and are completly stand alone games BUT you can play all the races in the newer versions if you buy the base races.

Nobody forces yu to pay for anything besides the base game, do not like beast man then don't buy them, you can still fight against them for varity.

As far as i know no game improvments are locked behind dlc, if you can play a race oyu get all their mechanics on the newest version you are just locked out of certain lords and their lord mechanic.

Remember games take time and gettign paid for the worked time is totally fair.
They need to be developed and patched, the least somebody could do is buy them at 90% of on Steam.

All the Total War Warhammer games and dlc cost when on sale 230€,
100€ is the base games 1 and 2 and all the old dlc which includes dozens of races with a good hundred lords and playstyles.
The rest is the current game and it's dlc.

I myself pumped a good 1500 hours into this game and easily got my moneys worth and still only really played half the lords intensivly.

I paid 15 cent per hour of entetainment, quite hard to get a better deal with a game of this size.
