While I was first doubtful when I heard Bloober Team was behind the Silent Hill 2, all my suspicions immediately evaporated within the first 10 minutes of the game. Bloober Team has created such an amazing experience I can't fathom how much I want to praise the team for this master piece. It is as faithful to the original Silent Hill 2 as it can be. The game play and atmosphere is surreal where at times I was holding my breath turning corners expecting an enemy. I streamed this game for friends who have never played the game before and all of them were equally interested and immersed into the story behind this game. Please, if you haven't played the original Silent Hill 2, this game is for you. If you have played the original, still PLEASE play it. You will not regret a single thing.

TL:DR Bloober House has done an AMAZING job of remaking and retelling the tragic stroy behind James Sunderland in the town of Silent Hill

I've heard so many things about this game, and how there is a dedicated player base for it for hundreds of years. So I decided to finally try out the game and see what all the hype was about.

The lore hasn't been patched since day one except for a remake which changed some parts but overall fairly solid story line. The game play is a bit dull but the characters and the world lore makes up for it. Balance patch is somewhat needed, God is too over powdered since day one. Basically doomed if you're not on his team. Not a lot of a replay ability after you finish the game but others seems to disagree so that might be just on me. The game itself is quite gory and mature so really not sure why people recommend it to children so often.

I'd say a solid overall 7/10 for the game. Overrated as hell though.

I usually never write reviews for games but after finishing Omori, I just had to write up a review.

I went into this game expecting a light-hearted rpg game with a side of psychological horror but did not expect to bawls my eyes out near the end.

This game has managed to perfectly make me experience joy, terror, sadness and despair all in the same playthrough and none of it felt out of place. Every event and gameplay had a reason for the theme and goal of the story and the ending perfectly was able to deliver that message. Fair to say this game hit me hard in the end.

Please, if you are thinking about playing this game, play it. You will not regret the experience at all. My only issue with this game is that I didn't play it sooner.
