The definition of "easy-to-learn, hard-to-master". If you want to 100% this game you need to become an expert at the limited tools you are given and it is a very rewarding challenge. Very few games have given me the same feeling of speed that this game has. Highly recommended!

Very fun, quick game. Incredible atmosphere and very good sound design. My main issue is that many of the enemies have attacks that more or less hit you without any sort of telegraph, which makes them harder to dodge.

This game has its fun moments, but for the most part it is tedious, repetitive, and unbalanced. Monster combat can be fun, but there is a very limited number of battles. Multiplayer has many lag issues and two of the three gamemodes are dumb. Conquest, which is King of the Hill, ignores who has been on the point longest and awards the victory to whoever is the last one on the point at the end of the game. Capture the Flag, on the other hand, extends the time so that when the losing team gains the flag time stops until points are equal. Both of these "balances" do not improve the game, but instead make actually completing objectives useless until the last 30 seconds or so. The combat is quite fun at times, but other times it is the same thing over and over again. Unless they end up fixing these issues, the game is not in an enjoyable state.

As a big fan of Hotline Miami and the newest DOOM, this felt like a great marriage between the two in terms of gameplay. Very fast pace, challening at the right difficulty, and has a good amount of variety when it comes to weapons and gadgets. Couple of issues, but the game is still in alpha and hopefully resolves many of the minor issues on full release. Definitely worth purchasing.

Deadlight is a very good game. I picked it up in the Humble Bundle and have loved it.

What the game does right:
-Environments are beautiful
-Combat works well
-Soundtrack is great
-Puzzles range from east to difficult
-Many collectilbles, including diary pages and memories
-Sound design is amazing

Things wrong with the game:
-Voice acting for some of the characters is dreadful
-Controls aren't very tight
-Dialog gets repetitive

Overall, this game is worth your fifthteen dollars, and I reccomend buying the soundtrack with it.

A naked man playing "Darude - Sandstorm" chased me down and punched me to death. 10/10

This is the best story in a video game I have ever experienced. The story made me feel so many emotions, whether it be laughter from the banter between the two scientists, sadness from the multiple depressing moments, or happiness from the ending. The soundtrack is brilliant, fitting the scenes perfectly with virtually no lyrics except for the song "Everything's Alright" which appears near the end. With subtle hints throughout the story, this game's story is just perfect. The gameplay is weak, mostly just walking and clicking on things. If you want a short game with an amazing story, buy "To The Moon". If you want a game with lots of fun features and lots of variety in gameplay, this may not be what you are looking for.

Very fun to play on your own, but more fun with a friend/friends

An amazing game, not a cheap copy of Minecraft at all.
