Fun game with friends, looking forward to see how the game is going to evolve in the future

Hunt is unique and has brought me some of my best gaming experiences, but in 2024, I can't recommend it anymore. Over the past year, the game's issues have only deepened with each update:

- It's overwhelmed by DLC and paid skins, which keep becoming pricier.
- The new UI is completely broken and remains dicey to use months after its release.
- Matchmaking is flawed, leading to matches dominated by meta loadouts and uneven skill levels facing each other, sometimes leading 3 stars players to face 6 stars.
- Events have transformed into repetitive seasons, just like every other live-service game.
- And now cherry on top we’re getting licensed crossover DLC? It feels like the game's identity is lost. I get that execs probably sat in front of a whiteboard and went like "Sod it, we already have Santa anyways, what's another out of place character gonna do to the Bayou?" But still, Santa manages to fits better than whatever the hell Crytek is trying to pull of here.

There’s still some enjoyment to be found in Hunt, but the developers are making it increasingly difficult to appreciate. What was once a truly unique experience has now become something akin to Call of Duty Cowboy edition, which is really disappointing.

Wonderful little game, gives you a sense of peace and really helps unwind a bit. I have been playing since the beta and happily bought the game the moment it came out. My girlfriend who doesn't play games absolutely loves to sit next to me and participate in creating little worlds, so that's a plus !

Democracy prevails once more; major order completed !

Game is good, if you got 4 friends in your pocket you can get a good few hours of fun on this

Absolutely fell in love with the art direction; solid evolutive gameplay elements steadily introduced throughout the journey which really helps refresh the gameplay loop.

It's not for everybody, but for me the writing, the visuals, the soundtrack and the gameplay were forming a great harmony and really deserved the time I spent on what really felt like a labour of love.

10/10 would slide down a mountain with a floating carrier at neck-breaking speed while dodging BTs
