If you use an autoclicker, set it to 80ms per (double)-right click. Around 76 is when the fish don't seem to work properly with the food, so use 80 as a sweet spot. Plus, if you use it near the side of the tank, they will centre on the food a lot more and you can set another auto clicker for left mouse to dismiss new fish discoveries while auto-feeding.
