The story, the great characters, and the sometimes serious, sometimes silly conversations kept me hooked on this game back in the 90s. One of my top 5 best games of all time.

Tough, a bit unfair, and ridiculously deep but you'll probably never find any of the secrets without internet help.

Perhaps my favorite game ever to have existed. Charming, colorful, witty, full of characters. Great soundtrack, great story. My only complaint is that some of the puzzles are a little obtuse.

Pretty good, but not much end-game. Still, you'll get your money's worth going through the "tech tree" progression once. Fairly calming game, no combat, few "enemies" to speak of overall.

In the end, this is the same old Skinner box as any other MMO, you just won't pay as much monthly for it. Also, organizing and teaching 6 people for a raid is easier than 20.

Soviet depression against the background of a sci-fi story. A unique experience.

True to the first game in a way I didn't think would be possible. If you asked me to describe "Risk of Rain in 3D" this game is exactly it on the nose, from the gameplay to the graphics to the music. Every bit as frantic and difficult as the original.

This game is slow, tedious, and miserable. Even when you're making progress, somehow it feels like luck rather than skill. Building is not intuitive. Dino levels mean nothing. Be prepared to look up everything on the wiki because the game tells you nothing, and punishes you severely for experimenting.

Play it on a private server, with the S+ mod at minimum.

I'm just doing this for the badge.

Right about when you're alternating food and heat every other day to save money, the depressingly soviet tone of this game will hit you.
