too hard I literally can't even beat the first boss

I am so dissapointed.
Denuvo ruins everything it touches and this was no different. The performance was abysmal and I had to play on low to even be able to get 50 FPS. I will be getting this game on sale if it ever gets fixed.

Fun game to play if you're either drunk or trying to play the fool pretty much. Community is league of legends level if you don't play super well or if you do certain strategies as killer and survivor. If you have a good friend group that plays the same game for like a decade straight this is one of those games that is pretty good to do that with.

If you are someone that takes games super seriously and gets pissed when you're losing THIS IS NOT THE GAME FOR YOU. Trust me, it never ends well. Don't take the game too seriously and you'll probably have a good time (Unless the killer does something super boring like downing everyone and then leaving them on the ground until they all die or guarding 3 of the generators with skull merchant for an hour until the game auto shuts down and gives the killer the win by default.)

If you play this game as killer, same rules pretty much. Don't take the game too seriously and you'll have a good time. (Unless the survivor does something super boring like being better at the game than you and making fun of you for it.)

Either way, funny game.

I literally cannot write a review for this game that encompasses every aspect that they've done well. There's some bugginess, however honestly I can completely let it slide because of the pure quality and ingenuity of this game. This game is basically one of those dungeons and dragons campaigns with your friends that went so well that you remember it forever. It is a love letter to RPG fans and there is so much room for creativity in every aspect of the game. You want to kill a really strong boss? Throw another boss at it. Throw them off a cliff. Throw rocks at it to bait it into your blade storms that you conjured. I have been playing this game for weeks and I have never felt bored or restricted a single time in what I am able to achieve and every time I think I have a limitation I always find a way to get past it. I really like this game and if you like RPG games you would love this. You can play solo with amazingly written companions or you can even co op with your friends. So good. Hope there's more games like this soon. Though this game is repayable enough that you could probably play it for decades and still find new stuff. Also they're going to do modding support so quite literally may be endless.

TL:DR
I destroyed a bridge that an enemy leader was standing on and they fell into a chasm and instantly died 10/10

The mods add so much to this game as well. Artificer is an amazing class and the fact that it was modded in so seamlessly is amazing. Just a side note.

They're finally developing the second one.
Basically monster hunter with classes that are more fun imo.
This game has aged extremely well and continues to age extremely well, I could play this game over and over without getting bored simply because of how much variety there is in the classes and combat. No two encounters feel exactly the same. You can even customize your companion's classes and abilities so there's tons of different combinations.
The early game is a little slow but it's only for a few quests. Definitely picks up after you get access to the other classes.
You can optimize your build if you would like but I wouldn't recommend doing so as it requires leveling up as specific classes. This is mostly a problem with the "Hybrid" classes (Magic Archer, Magic Knight). Though there are mods to fix that. (There are some good mods for this game that make it even more enjoyable)

Overall I'd give this game a 9/10, the world doesn't feel 100% absolutely packed at all times but it gets pretty damned close. (I also don't like the fact that you can fail certain quests if you complete other quests too early)

I like the part where he says it's guild warrin 2 time and he guild wars 2s everywhere

I have 6.9 hours in this game and I feel like im gon need like a year like to beat it n stuff and things but uh um so yeah there is a little bit of lag sometimes but when I do the borderless window it mostly fixed it um I like horse I dislike red rot. thank you for your time I will paly it more and not refund it like some dumb noobs who can't wait for 2 seconds for the game to bet aprtchred I am a cyberpunk palyer I iwll wait multiple years for a patch to come out that finally fixes the game if the game has shown enough promise that I am very entertained by it. anyway, have a good.

Edit: I now have 140 hours in the game, I beat the game 5 times already and am now the true elden lord. This game is absolutely amazing, the exploration is vast and it's not an empty open world game where there's nothing to do. Every corner has something interesting to discover. I don't want to spoil anything, but it's hard though you can make it easy with clever tactics. (This was before the update scheduled for 3/16/22)

Edit: wow this update genuinely ruined every single fun PVE build for the game and made it so you now have to sweat your balls off beyond any other souls game due to the fact that you don't do enough damage lmao

Edit: Ok I was a little salty, game is still fine for new game, if you want to do NG+ though good luck that stuff is really really difficult
