An absolute joy to play. One of the best games of the last generation now playable on PC with unlocked frame rates and resolution. What's not to love?

Game is absolutely in a better place than pretty much any other Zombie survival game. The PvE Servers are fun and make it so you can explore and learn crafting (which is a great system) and the PvP servers make being around people just as deadly as you'd imagine. The world is also really cool as it's awesome to run down mainstreet, see office buildings with computers and chairs, and houses with TVs and bed, and pizza places with tables etc. They did a great job with the atmosphere and the world building it doesn't just feel like a box with a roof on it that might have loot.

The "Pay2Win" (that was never there IMHO) is "gone" as the air drops that have supplies create mass hysteria from people and zombies that it's a blast to take part of and a total gamble.

Most important though is even though it's in alpha right now it's totally playable. I've had 1 crash after 5+ hours of playing. No zombies clipping through walls, no random deaths from "falling" nothing.

All in all, very promising for the future.

When this mess was released, I was the 1st to jump on the hate train. 6 months later and they've done so much to it already (new content, PvP, DPS overhal, shards etc. I'm really excited for 2014. If you're a comic fan,or an ARPG (Diablo, Titan's Quest etc) fan...what do you have to lose? Give it a shot! it 's free afterall!
