I've played a lot of WC3 TD mods back in the days and this game is like having multiple great TD mods in one pack. Different difficulty levels and maps make it so that you can't utilize the same strategy every time, even though you have the same towers available. Daily challenges make you learn more about the game every day.

I tried this game when it was in closed beta and later again when it came to steam. Back then there wasn't much to do in the game. These days you have many interesting and engaging things you can do in the end game and GGG seems to listen what kind of improvements people want. Before starting the game you should still get someone to tutor you because the learning curve is quite steep.

At first it's quite difficult game and I really enjoyed that. After you get the hang of it you have basically finished the game and there isn't much more to do. You will get about 10-20 hours of game play depending how fast you learn/how much you die. There really isn't an end game and you can't really show off what you've achieved/found. I also played the alpha (thus got the beta free) and the beta is quite different from the alpha (in a good way). There's very few bugs and the game itself runs well. It's a finished product worth $5 (in current state).

If you liked Fallout 1 and 2, chances are very high that you'll like this one as well as long as you get out of the starting zone. Great value for money in terms of replayability!
