You want Bemani games on steam? But my child we already have Sound Voltex at home! Jokes aside this a fun rhythm game with an interesting gimmick, dual perspective and shifting lanes. Mash up mode is fun for what it offers but somewhat cannibalizes the freeplay mode. I find myself there more often and only freeplaying songs that do not have mash up tracks yet. Theres lots of room to grow however so we will see when new modes are added in the future. 2 lane mode can also feel somewhat redundant for those experienced with VSRGs. Options and customization are plentiful although I wish there were more variety in hitsounds given that there are no keysounds. Most importantly this game has Brain Power!

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to play Bardock. Mashing light is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of autocombo physics most of the jump heavy attacks will go over a typical Bardock's head. There's also Rebellion Spear, which is deftly woven into his characterisation - his personal philosophy draws heavily from using it at round start, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of his neutral, to realize that they're not just using his level 3 super for oki- Bardock sparking TOD says something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Bardock truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Bardock's existencial catchphrase "Prepare to die," which itself is a cryptic reference to Toriyama's Japanese epic Dragon Ball:Episode of Bardock I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Arc System Works' genius unfolds itself on their television screens. What fools... how I pity them. 😂 And yes by the way, I DO have a Bardock tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the ladies' eyes only- And even they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand.
