Until 2k stops with the limited content creation time windows I can't recommend any of the wwe 2k series.

The game was worth its price when it left early access, but they kept adding to it. New enemies, new weapons, new maps all for free when they could have been using them as dlc. Easily one of my all time favorite games, and will continue playing for a long time coming. If there is something to complain about, it is the install size but it is so worth it.

I have greatly enjoyed this game thus far. I am not finished with the extra campaign missions yet but finished the main line. As many have stated this feels a lot like x-com but based in a western setting. There are a few times the game gets hung up while loading but if you have some patients it seems to sort itself out fairly quickly and you can get right back to your game. Honestly this game just checks a lot of boxes for me. The game play is solid, the customization allows enough to balance your characters to play several possible rolls. The card abilities let you try some other fun activities. I picked this up during the lunar sale and feel bad about how little I payed for it. I can see myself easily getting 30+ hours out of this game just playing through and unlocking all of the in game items. (Please note I also got the expansion so this review may be influenced by that as well)

If I had wrote this review right after getting the game and playing the first time I have little doubt it would have been positive, but as I am writing this review after returning to the game and finding all online custom content locked I wonder if the devs could not find a better way to implement them into steam workshop so that content can continue to be shared after they move on, of course then we would not be forced to buy the new version every time they made one so that would hurt their profits.

Spent the better part of the year awaiting the MV support we were promised, only for it to never be released, instead they are trying to make us buy a new program. Was so hyped when they announced coming support for 2 weeks after, then a little less hyped when it was delayed, more so when they did it again, then all the wind went out my sales when they released their new software.

This is easily my favorite game. Not my favotire series, but hold it side by side with any other game and this one wins out. Just wish I owned a computer that could run it. All 44 hours I have clocked in this game was using my friends computers.
