Early Access Review
TLDR: This game has amazing potential, and reminds me of a cross between Battlefield, CoD, and Squad. Add in some seriously impressive customization options for good measure. In early access, it isn't perfect, but could easily become the next big shooter on the market.

The good:
-Customization options across weapons, equipment, and your own soldier will make you drool
-The game looks and sounds great, though seems to default to Ultra settings even on computers that don't support it
-The gunplay is excellent. When coupled with the armor system, it rewards skilled, precise players
-Strikes are mostly reasonable, though I have yet to see some of the higher costed ones
-The dev team seems quite responsive, and very understanding throughout the recent server issues

The bad:
-Its alpha, there may be some bugs
-Custom loadouts may not always save
-Vehicles seem quite tough to defeat once on the map, they may be undercosted (or RPG's aren't carried as often as they should be)
-Creating a squad only allows you to ensure all friends connect to the same server, it should have additional functionality
-Squads in game could use additional functionality
-Statistics page seems to fail every so often if you're monitoring your progress
-If you're using an external gamepad (like my Razer orbweaver), some additional buttons are functional only when binding keys, not actually during the matches
-intermittent fps drops at seemingly random times (or when initially loading into a match)

All in all, this is alpha, and bugs are to be expected - if you can't handle the bugs and don't want to support the team to improve the game, then don't buy it. If you want to experience something new and refreshing, that has truly amazing potential, enlist today!

Effectively the only true real-time strategy. No turns, no "planning" period like you have in Rome between battles. Everything happens at th same time, and it could be slightly overwhelming. There is a considerable amount of micromanagement, and it only scales up once you get into maps that consist of over 100 different planets. My favorite strategy game of all time.
