What's here is fun...

There's just...not enough of it.

While it's very linear compared to RE2, RE3 Remake is still a fun little RE game that takes the combat of RE2R and throws in a little more style with the Quick Step/Punch move.

Get it on sale, or family share it with someone like I did, because $60 is too much for a game that, while good, can be completed in under 2 hours. I will say though, that the shorter length of this game motivated me to replay it on the harder difficulties, something I typically don't do-I usually do standard and leave it at that. Playing at the harder difficulties and unlocking the powerups (items that increase damage/regenerate health, extra inventory slots, fun OP guns that can't be unlocked through normal play, etc.) in the shop to help does extend the playtime-the final boss on Hardcore and the hidden Inferno mode is straight up Dark Souls level of difficult, even with the powerups, which provides an interesting challenge.

Gonna give it the thumbs up because I did enjoy the game, but, like I said, do not pay full price for this.

EDIT: Just want to add that I highly recommend downloading some of mods, as this will also give the game a little extra replayability, something that the game is in great need of. One great resource for this is Nexus Mods: https://www.nexusmods.com/residentevil32020

I also highly recommend the "Jill Classic" mod by K.G.maliao, as it more accurately captures the feeling of Jill's outfit from the original game even more so then the pre-order bonus one and looks pretty damn good on Jill. No matter what ending you get, you're gonna feel like crap about yourself.

A buggy but overall enjoyable ARPG. Plus it's got a kickass female protagonist, which there's a shortage of.

Thought the puzzles in Portal 2 were too easy? This one's for you.

Seriously, you will tear your teeth out trying to figure some of these rooms out. Call your dentist and tell 'em they're gonna be rich.
