After 57 hours, 5 playthroughs and unlocking every achievement. I feel I have a good enough opinion on the game.

Dishonored 2 is a perfect sequel for my personal favourite game. It has built well on its gameplay with the introduction of two playable characters, each with their own power sets and the lore of Dishonored has been greatly expanded on with some questions left on the first game being answered. Yes there is performance issues but this can easily be fixed with some messing around in config files and video card settings. Or just wait for the upcoming patch.

Story: (SPOILERS FOR STORY INTRO)

The start of the story is weak, very weak in my opinion. We start off as Emily on her throne giving a speech on the 15th anniversary of Jessamines assassination from the first game. The first gift giver of the day is the Duke of Serkonos who was brought along the "true" empress, the sister of Jessamine. The claimed rightful heir then announces she is the heir to the throne and she will be taking it and locking up Corvo and Emily and just like that most of the guards just turn their swords on you. No proof needed, a strange women with a distorted voice and questionable clothes comes in and says shes the true empress and everyone just believes her and pulls their sword on their empress of 15 years, it doesn't make any sense. The rest of the story makes up for this as you embark on another journey to get to the bottom of a plot against your empire, There are some good points in the story where we see revelations and parts where plot points come together and I felt myself drawn more into how this coup was formed. It creates a new feel for Dishonored, while not straying too far from what made the original great.

(END OF SPOILERS)

Gameplay:

Gameplay is just so close to perfection, the game's difficulties have actuallly been worked on to make a difference other than how much health you lose to hits. I played on very hard and being stealthy has never been so hard, enemies are so much more perceptive and I was as good as dead whenever I accidentally entered an enemies central vision. If i mistakenly entered an enemies peripharel vision I had very little time to react as the AI would hone in on my position as a result of the increased difficulty, it made me watch enemies routes and plan on how to avoid them, which made me more invested in my surroundings.

The powers have been worked on to bring in a more skill tree based format. Corvo keeps his powers from the first game although they have matured, giving him a choice of advancing his old powers for stealth or for full combat. Emily's powers seem more based on stealth, her Far Reach is the equivalent of blink but MUCH more useful and she has Domino, which lets her link enemies who will then share fates. This is one of the greatest abilities in the game and I found myself constantly using it in my playthrough to both save ammo and make combat less dangerous. Emily's Doppleganger and mesmerize are a must have for any stealth player as a way to distract enemies from youself.

The environment is also one of your biggest weapons. Glass bottles can know be thrown at enemie's heads for an instant knockout now, proving very useful for players low on sleep darts or saving them. Windows can also be used for the same thing but be careful, an enemy thrown into a window can either die or be knocked out, theres now way to ensure how they end up so be careful. You can also knockout people from the air or mid combat, which is something massively missing from the first game.

Overall:

Dishonored is a great singleplayer game, offering at the least 4 full different playthroughs for players to enjoy which proves very much worth its vaule. The story although starting slow and weak picks up towards the middle and really pulls out some good points to invest you in the world. World design is a massive step up from the original, with even more ways to go about a mission, more beautiful areas that give you an atmosphere of despair and hoplessness from the citizens. Players who love stealth can take the challenege of attempting the game without being scene which really feels like how the games meant to be played, its a great challenege. I cannot even put into words how great my expeirence of this game has been but you can understand your self if you purchase it, you will not regret it!

Tl:dr; Dishonored 2 is really good and you can play it a lot. It improved from the first but the start of the story is pretty slow.

Alt+Tab no longer screws game up, that's worth full retail price itself.

To put it shortly, one of the greatest games I have ever played.

I have just finished my 13th playthrough of Dishonored and had to recommend it, it would be criminal not to. I spent most of my time playing it on Xbox before getting the game free with my Dishonored 2 pre-purchase.

Dishonored just keeps giving, the replayability is insane for a singleplayer game. The choices you make impact so many time details it is great, not like your other choice games where the outcome only shows in the end, no way, Dishonored makes you aware of the changes around you as a result of you actions using the rat population, infected population, wanted posters dialogue and much more.

The world Dishonored is set in is stunning, a great blend of a steampunk like past setting with futuristic technology that takes you back with its creativity and atmosphere.

Gameplay is rather good, the multiple gadgets and secruity systems you can play around with can keep you entertained in one spot for ages. Going for achievements such as not killing anyone and not being seen adds a good level of difficulty into the game.

Story is the only thing that could use improvement. It is short, very short. A expeirenced player can do a playthrough in about four hours maybe less if you have good pace. It is also a tad boring, there is no real twists or shock in the story, everything just kind of happens as a direct result of your action so nothing really goes against the player, the protagonist has no real difficulty in his story and no bumps in the road that must be tackled.

Aside from that, one of the best stealth games out there. Would be stupid to pass up this great experience!

This game depresses me.

I love this game, so much. It is so fun and creative and is the first game that has addicted me in over a year and this is why It hurts to not recommend it but I cannot recommend this game to anyone.

The reason I give this game a thumbs down is its community. Never before have I seen such a vile cesspool of offensive, homophobic twelve year olds. Some guy in full armor attacks you when you have nothing? dont worry, he will tell you how sh--it you are at the game after he killed you! Guy attacks you and he fails and dies? you are now a "fa-g--got" and a "hacker" For example, today I had a fight with a guild of 5 while I was by myself, the reason we had a fight was they caused me to lose some land I claimed. I hung one, killed 3 with an axe and 1 ran away injured. I was then verbally abused over chat by being notified that I am a "fa-g---got piece of sh---it" and then I got accused of spawning them items and that I hacked the items in for them, they wanted me to be reported.

I also witness a lot of discrimination on this game, while building my own house I saw the chat fill up multiple time with racial slurs and people being called cu--nts all because someone died. Its terrible.

Another reason to not buy this is the hackers. With no anti cheat or server admins hackers can go about freely on what they do oh and trust me, they do. Want to be king? nope, hacker will slay you as soon as you are crowned. Built a good base? hacker can delete blocks! Having a fair fight? nope, expect a speed hack, 1hit kill hack and god mode! I also witnessed a hacker block the entrance to the throne today so no more kings in that server till restart. Oh and also, considering there are 30 player slots per server, expect at least 4 of them players to be hackers.

And finally, its all fun doing all this grinding to build an amazing house and collecting all items but at this current stage, its pointless. When watching the trailer I imagined a game with a few large guilds with a nice big village/fort/castle but no. Guilds consist of maybe 2-3 people because you cant trust anyone and there are multiple guilds. You will never feel safe enough to leave your house because it will get looted. No ones neutral, there is no politics or alliance. Everyone just wants to steal. This is a waste of time, yesterday I spent 10 hours grinding, I built a small 2 story house deep in the woods, I was a neutral player, I appeased the big guilds to keep them happy and only captured and executed players I saw murdering noobs. So you can imagine my dispair as I saw the guild of 8 members roll up with what I can describe as the most overpowered Trebuchet ever and knock my 10 hour development down in less than 5 minutes for no reason but just because they can.

EDIT: *Today I joined an RP-PvP whitelist server, basically you had to be allowed into the server and there are rules as to what you can and cannot do, I am now loving the game as I have found a good community and server to play on*

Whitelisted server with rules

9/10

Fun game
Good rules
No hackers
Good players

Offical server/community server without rules or whitelist

6/10

Fun game
Bad community
Hackers
End result is not all that

Wait like 6 months till hackers are more rare and price goes up so kids cannot buy.

I've been a long time player of the total war series (since the first medieval game) and I must say, Atilla is the first one I have seriously enjoyed in the last 9 years.

Atilla feels like the sequel that Rome 2 never was, its new politics system is perfect. It mixes the politics of the second Rome game with the family tree and bloodline of the first Rome game.

Fighting AI is great, they feel really smart! The cavalry actually want to avoid my spears and even trick me into falling into traps.

Since Atilla I have simulated less battles, simulating Is no harder I think now and you have more chance at losing the simmed battles especially with the new margin of error feature.

Atilla is the sequel to Rome 1 that Rome 2 isnt. Love Rome: Total war? Buy this!

Do not take notice of the 1 hour playtime, I have worked my xbox to death playing this game. This review will focus on the gamplay and mechanics, story is not as important for this game. Lets start the review!

When State of Decay first appeared on my Xbox 360 dashboard I thought of it as another cheap Zombie arcade game, I decided to download the demo and since that day, I have been hooked. This game throws you in the midst of zombie apocolypse and lets you know your only option to survive is to group up with other characters. You then go through the game saving (or leaving) survivors and inducting them into your community which you build up, choose what to build, where to build and what base will be yours.

This game takes realism to the extreme, all characters that you can switch between have their own personalities that effect how they react in situations and how their mood is during their stay in your community. They also have their own skills, weaknesses and backstories that let you know what person you want over others and let you feel a connection with these characters. With so many different personalities staying under one roof in such a severe time, problems are bound to happen and sometimes you may need to help calm down a survivor or go take them out and have a chat, maybe someone is scared or upset and needs you to give them reassurance that everything will be alright and this level of realism for what actually would happen in this situation is amazing.

One thing you must keep track of is supplies, having a large community may keep it safe from zombies but starvation and illness can hurt large groups. You will need to scavange and set runners to go collect these resources to reimburse the daily supply usage.

The best thing about this game is the death, in State of Decay if somone dies, they die. Runners going to get supplies and get caught up by a horde? dead. Survivor is ill and there is no supplies? Dead AND infecting others. This really gives the incentive to stay aware of whats going on and doing your best to keep everyone alive, I let my guard down when I got near the end of the game and ended up with the games first character dead because I left him alone when he needed help. There is nothing more sad than having to go collect your dead friends bag.

This game is a must have for any survival lover, 10/10!

Early Access Review
This is a review of an early access title, all work shown is subject to change and the review is on the 0.1.8.0 version.

I have spent a few hours on this game and here is what i thought;

After jumping into this open forest i had absolutley no clue what i was doing. The help guide seems to be lacking some things to tell you, such as what to actually do. I spent a good twenty minutes running around wondering what to do, lucky enough i met a friendly player and he sent me on my way with the knowledge of how to collect and craft. I then started my adventure in this very big (and very green) world before i got bored and realised that this game is NOT meant for singplayer, you NEED people to play it with. So after getting some people from my ESO guild we went on our way scouting for a good location which is when we stumbled upon a moose, a wolf and lake which at first seemed like the start of a bad joke but I soon realised that wolves were no joke in this game. After a insanley glitchy fight, some crazy server lag and a respawn we eventually met up and continued our journey for our future home, where we came upon a nice ridge on the mountain and prepared for the vibrant town to come alive before us! ....four hours later we had a nice mine and bit of flat land set up. This game requires patience, a lot of it. This game isn't meant to be an easy rush to be the best, it is hard and I'm glad as nothing is more rewarding then seeing a town come to life that you started from the bottom up! To get more into our review of the game we decided to cut a corner and move into our friends village which was situationed on the Island off the coast of the main land, we arrived to see a nice little set up and decided that five of us wouldn't be able to do it. After some discussions in Global chat we managed to get some lone wolves to come to the town and become a villager, so now I will start my day off tomorrow in my little community. Me and the fellow villagers then started to discuss the games potential, one point that came up was people claiming lands and creating a kingdom of sorts and a player who has built it all up being the king. This itself would be a very good for the game but then we also thought, with the seige warfare being implemented what if multiple players claimed themself to be the King/Queen, the wars between kingdoms and the borders would be so great so now i would say we are incredibally exicted for what is too come.

So from this gameplay i came to think, as an Early Access game, this is great. It's got a lot already implemented in the game and has a lot of support behind it to show it hopefully will not become another Stomping Land! But as a game, not so good. So obviously if i was you i would wait, while it has a lot in it at the moment it could use so much more and right now it is just a grind, Always be weary when purchasing Early access!

This game....

This game is just perfection, I would say it is easily one of my favourite games of all time. I never have really been one for horror games, normally just pausing them or quitting them when i was scared but with Outlast i did not pause or quit after being jumpscared at all, i ran. I ran away from my persuer to saftey because i am Miles Usphur, an investigative reporter who has come to Mount Massive Asylum after receiving an anonymous tip and i must expose what is happening and what i have witnessed.

The DLC Whistleblower just gives another reason to love this game, it starts off as a prequel to the first story but after certain events the two stories become parallel which i love as I like knowing what was happening in the other parts of the asylum.

tl;dr 11/10 would crap myself again.
