Horror typing game with a lot of character to it. Very oppressive at first but also very rewarding to replay for the other endings

Very solid 10-15 hour indie soulslike. Great QOL and combat mechanics, good level design, sound, and aesthetics. I found it nicely challenging and there were enough build tools to make experimentation fun. My one complaint would be that the secondaries all seemed underwhelming compared to the parry shield you get at the start, and I found myself very reliant on parrying for basically the entire game because it was so strong.

I got an unacceptable amount of stuttering using this, and the frame generation has severe artifacting

There's just no other game out there that gives you the type of experience this one does. Great graphics, fantastic soundtrack, good story as well. Big thumbs up

Clever puzzles delivered with delightful claymation art and fun characters.
Short, but definitely worth your time especially for free!

This definitely has the most delightful and surprising puzzles and construction in the series. Must-get!

Great art and fantasy puzzle boxes, but the puzzles themselves are almost all fairly trivial trial-and-error puzzles or other simple algorithmic puzzles like sorting, block sliding, pipes, and so on. If you're used to these kinds of puzzles, this game will be quite simple and short (i fully completed in 2.8 hours). Also, it definitely doesn't scratch the itch from The Room.

I would probably recommend it for absolute beginners to the genre but for veterans it's a very shallow experience.

Playing the sequel gave me the motivation to show this game the appreciation it deserves. The sequel has better gameplay but what made Blasphemous special was the absolutely overflowing creativity and style channeled into a world with so much intrigue - elements which were sadly diminished in the sequel.

I think this game is a step up from Monster Hunter World in terms of gameplay. It's a lot more accessible and feels much more fluid instead of clunky, which was still a problem back in World.

It does sacrifice a good bit in areas like environment design and monster behavior, but you get to ride a dog, so it balances out. Overall, it's very good and I hope the team keeps many of these ideas in future games.

Early Access Review
This game ruined all other incremental games for me just by showing what the genre is capable of. I'd like to see it finished one day, but it may not be and that's fine - it's still absolutely worth it in its current state.
