Played for about an hour and here's what I think

It's a great game for a fighting game on Steam. You really can't beat it if you buy it on sale for $10 or less. I wouldn't pay a full $15 for a game that only has 8 characters and has DLC costumes already, though. Food for thought.

-Pros

-Wavedashing, Who doesn't like wavedashing? -wish,woosh,wish,woosh-
-Lots of fun combos that can be strung together to create unique kill moves
-If you play competitive Smash you will move than likely enjoy this games mechanics (Its NOT Smash though)
-Netcode is pretty good but there aren't a lot of online players. If you're picking these up you should expect to play it locally with friends that come over or online with friends in your area. I'd suggest buying a copy for a friend if you pick this game up. (That's what I did)

-Cons

-Small character roster (at least characters work well)
-Already have DLC skins (I hate DLC with a passion)
-No stage without platforms, this could easily be added and would help all players with developing their neutral game
-I haven't been able to find a single person to play with me that isn't on my friends list :/
-This game doesn't have a tournament mode or host its own events. Would be a lot cooler if it did

Overall I think the game is worthwhile if you don't spend more than $15 for it and the DLC characters. Fun game if you enjoy Smash.

I could go on a huge rant about why this game is currently bad but I won't. It has potential but in its current state it's just god awful.

So my buddy gifted me this game after watching about 10 minutes of a stream we decided we had to check it out since it's only $15, looks fun and gritty. I've only played for 55 minutes but I really enjoy The Mean Greens. It's fast and action packed, has tons and tons of maps (many of which I have yet to play) and lots of great gametypes. Has a nostalgic yet new feel to it. I absolutely love it. Kinda reminds me of Toy Story.

I know this game has only been out for a week but I can tell it's going places. I'll be playing it casually over the winter to see where this game progresses.

12/10 would spend $15 on it again.

I miss Legacy. I loved what Rust was and I hate what it's become. Last year I would have recommended this game to everyone but now I'd say save your $20 and purchase H1Z1 instead. It's not quite the same as Rust Legacy but it's better than the current situation of Rust.

H1Z1 I haven't known you long. Not even a week yet but I can tell we have something special. I like the madness, the excitement, the not knowing what's next.

This isn't Halo.
