Great game! Reminds me of POE when it first released when the game was really hard, but much better.
I don't understand all the fuss about the same being slow, I'm blazing through the campaign and the new huntress is pretty insane.
The game takes character building to the next level with the new gem system and with a lot of skill synergies.
I just hope they don't make the campaign too easy.

It's a very fun arena shooter, most maps are very well designed for some epic portal plays.
Good stuff!

Same as I remembered.
Looks beautiful.
I remember it was way harder back then but maybe it's because I can use the mouse now.

This isn't Dark Souls.
If you look at the forums, all threads are about somebody having a hard time and explaining to the devs how to make their game more like Dark Souls. Don't be those guys please.

I'm really enjoying this!!!
+Shooting and getting headshots (or weakspots) feels really good
+Melee feels good
+Very challenging, alone and together
+Intense boss fights

-Maps are generated, you can feel it, and while replay-ability is great, I quit in the middle of my second playthrough.
-Which also make the monster positioning generated
-Which makes the game feel a bit repetitive and the maps don't feel very well thought out.
-Not enough monster variety

Remnant From The Ashes feel a bit basic in a sense that there isn't too much depth, both in the gameplay mechanics and mods, and the character progression.
This is both a strength and a weakness, since the game is easy to get into with a gameplay addictive enough to make you stay, without bogging down the action with unnecessary shopping, upgrading, theorycrafting and item switching. But it is fair to say the repetitiveness is felt quickly.

"Get in, Shoot monsters, Get out" type of game.

This game, which is a BIG WIN, lacks content.
Killsquad has a great combat system, gameplay loop and diverse heroes.
The only thing the game lacks is content, as it gets repetitive quickly.

For an early access that just came out, it looks very promising.

You move your mouse... and it's like... It's impossible to aim!!
He runs left then right then left, but my mouse is so delayed that I'm better off point forward and wait for them to go in my sights.
Very bad input delay. ♥♥♥♥♥♥ optimisation, runs 80fps (lowest settings, on a decent gpu) and the mouse feels like 30 fps.

Would recommend when the game feels right because I liked it.

Don't get me wrong, the game is great, fun, story is alright, tons to explore and a lot of play time offered.

But you are going to see bugs, every few minutes.
You are gonna get crashes.
You are going to restart your runs because you got stuck or a monster got stuck in a wall so you are not able to open some door.

I can't recommend something that would annoy the hell out of you, even if it's worth it.
I'll change the review once there aren't so many bugs.

I want to play it very bad, but after 30 minutes I have to ragequit because of some retarded bug and I have to redo everything, time and time again.

Hunt, a Battle Royale with a goal (kill the boss).
Annoying AI that attacks you (or makes noise) in the worst situation possible.
Minor progression, you hunter is going to become awesome and then die miserably.
Shooting is tough, but precision is extremely rewarding.

I played since early access, coming back every few months to check out the progress. The game is in a great shape, but the bugs are still plenty.

Don't expect single player, content or farming. There's no point to leveling up aside of some nice perks to spice up the gameplay.
This game is about tense situations and mind games, especially when there are more than two couples in an area.

For those with a hardcore mindset, definitely recommended,
For more casual players, you better not get too attached to your hunters :)

Cool game. Your aim is to build a house and survive. The world wipes every week.
The end game is raiding and clan wars, for the casual player more about surviving and progressing.
Don't expect players to be nice to you.
You don't have to be nice to others.
You are gonna lose your stuff.
Stick to solo/duo servers and don't play on populated servers while you learn to play.
The game runs 50fps+ on a laptop from 2012 with an i5 and gtx660m on lowest settings, so as for optimization, if your PC is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ than a 6 years old laptop, stick to 2d games.
