My inner five year old SCREAMED when I discovered that the ExE Evolution can kick in at a low % chance when your digimon are defeated. Going into a game blind has its benefits!

Imagine fighting a boss that you're way too underleveled before, feeling sad as you're defeated... only for your unconscious digimon to digivolve together and proceed to kick the boss's ass instead!

Looks REALLY good. Dev got screwed over, I heard about it, and gave a game a shot that I might not have always. Glad I did.

Armored Core meets Nier Automata. Lots of open world roaming, good action, fun looter shooter aspects, and great customization options. Weapons are very fun, whether you prefer melee or guns. Shoulder weapons are ALWAYS a treat in any mech style game, and I'm all for it.

Honestly slaps pretty hard so far, and I'm having a lot of fun (which is the point of games, no?). Unfortunately, high quality game still suffers from a high price point as well as releasing just before Silksong, so it wasn't able to take off the ground as much as it could have on release. Probably will go on sale eventually as a result, but might have a comeback if it does! Fingers crossed.

Would highly recommend, especially if on sale.

Definitely a banger. Great game, great story. Quite cute. Nothing nefarious about this game whatsoever. Give it a shot!

Cute. Stable. Fun. Not the most complex RPG in existence but boy does it scratch the itch of running off and doing things!

Add Steam Deck support and this'll be a 10/10
