I absolutely love the kill cams and the stealthy gameplay, however the price of all the DLC's quickly adds up if you bought the game before the complete edition was released. Buying all the DLC's at once if you've had the game for some time for a discounted price is also not possible which sucks

is fun until you until you suddenly lose a kingdom tier title while being an emporrer

its ok for early acces but after day 10 it gets kinda boring, hopefully they'll add some more (late) game content

Amazing game and with all the mods in it its absolutely FANTASTIC

I bought this game and didn't play it at all at first because it was all way too overwhelming. Then I started playing it and found out that half of the game is behind a pay wall, these dlc you can buy are quite expensive and i'd only recommend buying them while the game is on sale, and even then they're more expensive than the base game. For a game that is 7 years old, it's quite expensive: it's still 60 euro when not on sale. Many of the dlc are 15 euro as well, many of the items in the dlc's are also worthless because they're either super buggy (Tortoises in the greek dlc for example: units get stuck on it and the game will crash if it breaks too many walls at a time) or are just terrible factions When playing it (Unit packs are worthless most of the time too, but you can get them for 1 euro each when on sale so it's not really a big deal, it still sucks that you need to buy unit packs to have all the units of a faction available though.) I really did enjoy it but for a game that is about tactics and controlling units I found that controlling the units was near impossible at times because they just didn't do as you commanded them to or got stucks where there is a wall because the pathfinding isn't all that great.

On the other hand, there's nothing more satisfying than fighting your way through barbarians while being outnumbered 4:1 and still winning, conquering an entire faction or see how big your empire has become since you started. The multiplayer community is also great, there are always a few servers online with enough people to actually play games (Even 7 years after release) and so far I've met no one who was toxic. All the maps in this game feel really alive and way more fun to play on than the newer games in this series which makes playing way more enjoyable and feel it more realistic while you're trying to conquer new settlements or defend yourself against hoardes of enemies.

The game just feels unpolished for a game that costs 60 euro's with so many expensive dlc's, and it won't get more polished because it's 7 years old and they've begun development on other projects, which are all, except maybe for Warhammer (in my opinion) worse than this one.

I think it's an amazing game if you can look through the broken things (Which there are quite a few of), if you can get it on sale for 15 euro it's defenitely worth it if you like strategy games (Just don't buy it while it's not on sale, please).

Such a good game, never had any problems with the game, it is super fun to play. Would recommend
