-Hearts of Iron IV-
Hearts of Iron IV is a strategy-game based in 1936 as the world descends into war, but you probably already know that. This game is a war/diplomacy simulator that incorporates the usage of a Navy, Airforce and a Land Army.

| Getting Started |
Getting started with this game is rough at first since the beginner tutorial they give you basically assumes you have prior knowledge in one of Paradox Interactive's other games, which is quite a big slap int eh face to new players, such as myself in that period. I often resorted to having to watch Youtube videos, or play enough solo games to sort-of get the hang of playing the game.

Once you get the basics down, this game starts to get fun as you can experiment with how you design your military against other countries' defenses. However, to get to that point you must spend at least 10-20 hours getting the basics of how to play the game down.

It goes uphill from there once you get friends to play with as you could all play one country, or you can pick different countries and war each other.

| DLC |
However, one big problem with this game and many other Paradox games is that you need to buy a horrendous ♥♥♥♥ ton of DLC to experience the game in it's fullest. Each DLC could set you back 5-10 dollars and is just a way for the company to milk it's consumers as updates to countries are in those DLC's instead of actual game patches.

TL;DR:
Overall, I'd say this is a good buy for anyone who enjoys playing strategy and war games. The DLC is expensive and without the game seems bland, however the core experience is fun nonetheless. The game is made better by it's amazing community and multiplayer with your friends is just plain un-filtered fun.

Well, this game his it's ups and downs. The first topic I will touch on is the topic of grinding and un-even matchmaking for Tank AB, RB, Air AB, RB. The first problem with this is that you normally queue up for a match expecting a fair game, and then you get paired with an enemy team that has tanks that are a way higher level than yours, and it gets infuriating most of the time, but there's also a possibility to get teamed with people that have tanks that are a way lower level than yours. Not to mention the countless hours you have to spend in order to get the next tier, or to even research a new vehicle. Now, the positive things definitely outweigh the negative things. This game has amazing graphics or a F2P game. there are many tanks and planes to choose from, the mechanics for tanks and planes are on-point, the detail and design of every tank and plane, I could go on. I have had this game since 2016 I think, and yet I only have 71 hours invested on this because of the buggy matchmaking and grinding problems. Do I suggest this game? Yes. is it perfect? No. But is it worth downloading and playing? Absolutely. I recommend this game despite all the ♥♥♥♥ I have listed on this list.
