This is the best non-souls soulslike game I've played. It even rivals some official souls titles. This should be the game of the year if only it hadn't released the same year as Baldur's Gate 3.

Lies of P is an amazing blend of Dark Souls, Sekiro, and Bloodborne. It combines Dark Souls' dodging combat with Sekiro's perfect block parry with posture breaks. The weapons also have 'weapon arts'-like abilities. The game also combines Dark Souls' weapon-upgrading progression system with Sekiro's mechanical arm with different types of upgradable 'gadgets' you can apply to your arm. Lies of P has embraced fashion souls: they have replaced armor with equipable amulets/trinkets. You can wear unlockable costumes and hats, but your defenses and resistances are split into trinket slots.

This game also introduces an amazing system where you can forge whatever weapon you'd like. Every weapon (except boss weapons) has two parts: the blade and the handle. You can then assemble whatever mix of blade and handle to create a weapon with your favorite moveset and 'weapon art' with your favorite 'handle art' ability. The handle is what decides your weapon's attribute scaling (like strength and dex), in addition you can upgrade this scaling factor with an upgrade material once (and you can change this however much you'd like as long as you have the materials). This means that you have more freedom to use/create/test out different weapons that not necessarily have the best scaling with your chosen main attribute. In addition to your combat level, Lies of P also introduces an additional upgrading system almost like a talent tree, where you can upgrade stuff like how many heals you have, how much they each heal, how long consumables, how long enemies are staggered (posture break), etc. stuff like that but also important stuff like how many amulets you can equip.

The game also has some nice quality of life improvements learned from the souls games; for example dying on a boss spawns your souls outside the boss room, so you can leave and do other stuff without giving them all up. Another example is that the teleport screen shows you an icon wherever there is new dialogue/quest-related stuff, and other important things that you might not want to miss.

The level design and world building is great. The soundtrack is good, but nowhere near Dark Souls level. The bosses are amazing, the only critique is that I felt they could be a bit more challenging at times. I don't remember struggling more than 5 wipes to any bosses, which could be either a positive or a negative if you cherish mastering the super challenging.

The game has a decently interesting story which you play through, with story-deciding choices where you decide if you want to lie or not. These have an impact on your ending (and possibly more?).

I beat the game in 23 hours doing every side content and exploring everything that I could find, I kind of wish it was just slightly longer, but I also think that the story itself could not have continued any longer. The only other thing I was missing was Dark Souls' secrets, like fake walls etc.

Amazing 9/10.

There is no reason this game should run this poorly with such bad graphics (filter). Im sure the graphics are pretty good with ue5 but the filter removes it all while keeping the poor performance. I had to quit before even seeing a jumpscare cause I got so motion sick from it.

Much better driving than F1 22, it feels amazingly fresh. The AI feels way less frustrating and more playable. Some negatives are that the incompetent devs/leadership seemingly didn't bother to fix any of the big bugs from F1 22. To make it even worse there are a ton of very annoying bugs that make no sense, and that list keeps growing. There is a growing frustration with this game even tho the driving is fun.

The greatest and most realistic game to ever be made. This is what CSGO professionals play to practice. 10/10 wall-jumping bhopping bombs away abuser.

Game broke multiple times while playing multiplayer, but the worst thing is being stuck on the clown stage for hours. The way to beat it on youtube does not work anymore

Do not even think about buying this over F1 23.
