Square enix still don't understand PC ports.
whilst it's not as bad as the Automata port, the frame rate is tied with the game speed so anything above 60 FPS will cause the game to run faster than it should.

however, this is quite an easy fix - just cap your frame rate to 60.

despite this, the game is a faithful remaster of the Replicant and definitely worth a play. the issues aren't nearly as bad as the reviews say they are.

takes the spot as my absolute favourite game of all time.

automata has the signature yoko taro writing seen in the drakengard series, but this time with more existential dread.

despite being a good GAME, it is the worst pc port i have seen and square enix still refuses to patch it. from launch the steam version has been subjected to various game breaking bugs and visual glitches and is only playable due to the FAR mod.

this port is on life support right now and is supported by its community, and not the publisher. i recommend this only if you are willing to put up with the neglect that square give this amazing game.
