Been waiting for this one for a long time. Given the way my story ended in Werewolves 2, I really wanted to see how it all ended up.

Jeffrey's writing is amazing as always.

Much needed QA adjustments with the storyteller mode and chapter rewind system. The update deserves a thumbs up just from that.

I went into the dlc thinking the new clans would be skin deep, but damn there's a lot of new scenes and conversations for the new clans. Lasombra sire has a lot to hide and a malkavian player's got a lot going on in their own head all the time. I just finished the Lucca relationship and that was pretty quality as well. Might even like more than Jordan, but I'll have to try a few things different to see.

Finally, a Vampire game set in Canada! After the first play through I was hyped when I found the Prince on the first try, and then after the second read I realized I'd played almost entirely a different game. Yeah, it started off mostly the same, but if you ally with Vivian or Bouchard there's a crazy amount of extra scenes and angles to the mystery.

I don't know what it is... the game is zen, and I've put over 300 hours into it. Awesome game

The sequel I was hoping it would be! So many book and game sequels don't stick the landing, but this one avoided most of the common pitfalls:
- The choices from the first game carry over and matter. This is the most important one, and the author nailed it.
- There were something like 6 or 7 different endings in book 1, and all of them that I've tried so far have several unique pages and choices here before they link up for the main story. Good for replayability.
- The relationships are just as good as before. (Love that Bly got a lot of attention in this one. I really liked her relationship in the first game, and she gets a lot of time to develop here.)
- The stakes are high. Some of the new werewolves in this one are a lot more bloodthirsty than in book 1, so if you're playing a pacifist you'll have your work cut out for you.

I played through this game on Android, and liked it enough that I bought it on Steam as well.

Filled with plot twists that cause feelings of genuine horror and sympathy for the plight of the Haven werewolves, populated by believable and well-rounded NPCs that have consistent behaviour and motivations, and a vividly detailed, crumbling world, Werewolves : Haven Rising is, in a word, riveting. Most of the time when I finish a game, I want to take a break, but after playing it through once, I want to go back into that world and make different choices.

I've often only read physical copies of this kind of fiction, but if everything from Choice of Games is this good, I'll be buying a lot more from them.

If you loved Dying LIght, but wanted a world a bit more open, then The Following is for you. A truly massive map, lots and lots of zombies, and a new way to get around all combine for one hell of an awesome expansion.

Don't get me wrong, The game is OKAY. It's a generic shooter that I had enough fun playing, but all the same it was a monumental disappointment. Not a single bit of the game was what was promised, and it wasn't nearly as good looking as the so-called gameplay trailers (that turned out to be prerendered).

Moderately fun shooter? Yes. Everything it was supposed to be? Not by a long shot.
