I would say it's quite good, yeah, though it may take a while before you find reliable people to play with, and the sheer amount of DLC might be a little off-putting initially. But you've got all the basics with the base game, I would say it's worth the purchase. If you can grab the GOTY, even better.

I played almost every Battelfield game.. like Battlefield Play 4 Free, (even Battlefield Heros), Bf3, Battefield Hardline, Battlefield 4 and every single game was better (even at the release aswell ofc).. I don`t know, I'm disapointed...
Game runs poor, just some guns and maps, not compareable to every single other BF

First of all, the soundtrack of this excellent game has the potential to immerse you in a completely different soul.
This game is an audio masterpiece. Play it with headphones to be able to hear the environmental sounds
(cracked windows,branches.etc) and it draws you directly to that world with its perfectly blended atmosphere.
it deserves to be a catchy game.
The best when you play it with friends, but also good with random Teammates.
But I would recommend to wait for a sale.

Had a lot's of fun in this game back in the days, so sad it shut down.
Such an unique experience you don't have anywhere else now.
