Where to even begin, this game piqued my interest solely because of its art direction but, since I started playing it, its made me question everything. Playing as the amnesiac detective who has forgotten everything including his name ravaged by years of alcoholism and a penchant for disco. This allows you to be any kind of cop you want him to be through these internal monologues with different 'faculties' of your mind. You can use skill points to allow one of more of these faculties to be dominant based on which you have different dialogue options/ actions which allow you to take different approaches to the story and the game as a whole.
In addition to this, you can acquire abstract thoughts which you can develop to completion to further influence your own persona.

The soundtrack, the writing, the dialogue is straight out of a deeply intellectual art-house movie, but this alone does not do this game justice, it has a lot of surprises and some really dark comedy (depending on your choices). This game is the epitome of the RPG genre. If you are not put off by walls of text or don't hate reading, I would highly recommend picking this up.

Hands down the best open world game created yet and definitely a contender for one of the best games ever made. High praise, I know but its definitely justified in this case. Picked it up with high expectations after having heard console players sing praises to no end about the game back in 2018 when i originally first released. I can safely say that it exceeded all my expectations.

Rockstar has proven yet again that when it comes to sandbox games, they are the undisputed kings. The sheer amount of detail and depth to this game is astounding. Its almost overwhelming at first, but the game is designed in a way so as to let the players slowly digest this magnificent and vivid open world teeming with all sorts of characters, wildlife, treasure hunts; I could go on and on, but you get the idea.

The game is also quite slow paced which lets you really immerse yourself and enjoy every moment of the game. There's the welcome addition of RPG elements and the Honor System which lets you choose your own path and gives you an unprecedented level of control over how you want Arthur Morgan's legacy to go down in history.

This is one of the best experiences video games can offer. Don't miss out.

Talking about performance, I have yet to face any crashes in my 20 hours of playtime. So, I'm guessing many of the issues at the PC launch have been fixed.

10/10 would definitely recommend.
