"I hope you care about the environment" in a game but better. Very creative. The crafting and combat are pretty unique. The game almost makes you change your fighting style around the first half of it and you end up loving all of the weapon types. It encourages you to mess around with all of the stuff you find along the way.
Wish there was more of a reward for completing some of the side quests and also wish they had character dialogue. The characters seemed like they would have some background or some form of story, but they don't. Not to mention the same dialogue choices for almost every character after you have completed the quests.

Pros:
1: Very beautiful game
2: Weapon and gun play is great
3: Toilet weapons make fart sounds
4: Crafting is legit
5: Very freakin cute and it keeps you busy
6: Makes you want to explore the open world

Cons:
1: Copy and paste locations. Similar to Skyrim
2: No character Dialogue (You saw that coming from the previous reviews)
3: Story was ok, but very much so lacking. I wanted to know more about the main character.
4: Puzzles could have been harder.
5: Cap on materials and not enough options to use them for things you liked. (It takes a ton of materials to upgrade your 'dream gear')
6: The clans and clan cutscenes took away from the immersiveness

Still would recommend this game to someone looking for a single player open world.
This game was great. Worth the 40 bucks I spent on it. Over 50 hours and I still wanna go and explore.

I 100%'d the game. Still want to play more for that perfect build. Achievements were a little weird to obtain. Especially the pet capturing ones. Also didn't know there was a fur groomer in the game until searching for all the characters.
After completing all the achievements and side quests in the game, it made me want to explore other shaded parts of the map. Still fun little secrets to find everywhere.
Also figured out dismantling most of everything in your inventory that you don't need is super helpful in making the ultimate build (you're always short on wood lol). Really wish they had some form of trans-mog for the weapons at least.
Still very fun, cute, and a great game to get into after a long day.
New game plus was interesting, but you could tell it was specifically for leveling. All cutscenes for your character's past are not there anymore because you already have the upgrades. It is cool that the dev's allow you to spec your upgrade points into all the other classes though. That would have been an amazing thing to have in the original playthrough. Even if it cost a ridiculous amount of in game currency.
