Wasn't sold on this until I discovered I could customise my little guy with a cigarette and a milf t-shirt. That's when I realised this was a banger.

Pepper Grinder is a fantastic game that I had been highly anticipating for years, and I am happy to say that it is, in fact, a great game. Its music, art direction and fundamental gameplay mechanic of drilling are all fantastic. I was shocked to learn that this was made by a solo dev too so no wonder it took so long to release. My only issues are the difficulty spike in the final boss and the fact it is very short. I probably spent around over an hour on the final boss which didn't feel quite right as the rest of the game does not follow the same difficulty curve. And as for its length, I was genuinely disappointed after realising my experience was coming to an end only after 4 worlds and around 3-4 hours of gameplay. I believe this game has so much potential and could easily have twice the amount of levels while remaining mechanically interesting. Although I was hoping for more, I understand that it would take a larger team to expand on this game and that if the solo dev were to make it twice as long, it would have been in development for years to come. To conclude, despite its short length and overly challenging final boss I highly recommend this game. Keeping my fingers crossed for DLC in the future!!! :')

By far my favourite game on Steam. It's the community that makes the game what it is today, and I find that absolutely brilliant. 11/10 for all the creative minds out there. Keep up the good work!
