highly underated game feelsbadman

A thriving Viking survival game of up to 10 players, Imagine building a kingdom from scratch and fending off enemies with the boys. It has the attention it deserves and comes with that is impending huge improvements in a year or two. The only negative side is the learning curve, once you get past that, it's one kind of a journey.

not really recommended for solo players though, despite being doable.

Wishlisted since it came out. finally had the money to buy (thank you steam discount :)) and the time to play.
I expected this game to be somewhat decent.
Boy, am I wrong.

Got everything that 3D platform game offer.
Eventful story, catchy music, lovely graphic, engaging gameplay.
too bad it's too short for me. :(

I encountered 2 acceptable and 1 frustrating bug.
Except for that three, this game is amazing.

Bought this for a joke and to get dem free cards so i can get some money, but gaben weave another fate for me.

Said a guy with zero experience in card game, not even knowing what the F is card game in the first place. The gameplay is fun and your brain need to work hard to win. RNG is crazy, but tactics still extremely required.

Whining people talking about how microtransaction ruined this game. There's this mode called draft where you draft your deck (which open up like 5 pack and construct it before a match), you'll play this deck until either you lose twice, or get 5 consecutive win. no need to spend any money. The microtransaction made for people who love to collect card or wanted to feel the satisfaction of winning with your own well-constructed deck.

Although the gameplay is fun, and is playable by just paying the base price (competitively), I can't recommend if you want multiplayer game. There's nothing in this game that make the community alive or even to make you feel like playing a multiplayer game. No chat between the player (nor emote), no statistic, no profile. It's just felt dead. (Already implemented)

Stunning graphic, beautiful and passionate soundtrack, nice effect, and decent voice acting. Don't doubt this game in this part. It's a masterpiece.

The multiplayer aspect were added and they decided to do a constant nerf/buff once in a while. With this, if the community stay alive, I do recommend this game

I guess it's time to actually write a review for this old beautiful gem.
An old and repetitive game with so much gap in the system, yet addictive.
The most unique thing I got from this game is how little the game tell you what to do. Instead, it just give you a basic grip on how the mechanics works and just throw you out to the real battle. As you find out how to survive by yourself (or looking on how tf the AI got that far with so little gold to work with).

This game stand out more than the other stronghold game, solely because of the mechanics. It doesn't mean the other Stronghold is THAT bad. JK, some of them are hideous . Which is the reason for me to love this one more than the original.

Probably this isn't a review, but more of a 'letter of appreciation'. Thanks for the game, Firefly studios.

All and all, if this 'review' need an actual review:
'A classic advanced-RTS-in-its-era with a basic RTS element. and it's good because of the 'basic' element. They keep it simple, yet challenging.'

Maybe you see that im only play this game for several hours. but hey, i play it like 100 hours in offline mode.

graphic 8/10 (remembering this is an old game)
music 7/10 (i just like the intro one)
gameplay 9.5/10 (amazing gameplay for an old game)
Overall : 24.5/30

Pros:
+Over 10+ job mastering that you can choose
+Blackmail, lampoon, send a scout to your rival company
+Have a wife/husband
+Can change your job in the middle of game (with a lot of money of course)
+LAN Multiplayer
+Lot O cool stuff in the middle of game that can profit you, or destroy you.

♥♥♥:
-Buggy cart and people that rarely levitating
-Sometime, is really hard to have civic rights
-Cart bug, the one and only. very rare. that your cart is stuck in one place.

note : contra is rarely happening, and i enjoy this game really really nice.
