When unlocked refresh rates greater than 60fps makes the game slightly harder :thumbsup.
For a extreme challenge, try the Gallian Crossfire mod, then Imperial Onslaught mod in that order.

What's not to like about Deep Rock Galactic?
-Very price friendly when on sale
-Tens if not hundred of hours of fun with friends or solo
-Can run on low spec computers
-For all skill levels from noobs to hardcore enthusiasts with mods support!
-Friendly dwarvelopers!

Pretty quiet, but enjoyable time-bending stealth puzzle game.
Difficulty is linear, and with each chapter brings a fresh new game mechanic to spice things up.

Played the game twice, 2nd time to unlock the secret ending with all the achievements. What it means, I have no clue. Leave it to the game theorists.

Back when I heard about the beta, I was promised a realistic intense hardcore shooter with co-op, pvp, and even a campaign. However as the game developed over the years, there was no campaign developed, pvp is dead, and Co-op has stagnated.

Yes, when I first played the game, my reaction was how good it looked compared to the original insurgency 2014. How the sound design was ON POINT for the weapons and explosions. How DIFFICULT it was for the beginner to adapt to lethal gunfights. Different ammo calibers affect penetration, check, Realistic magazine storage, check. Tinnitus from explosions, check. Running speed vs weight of equipment and armor, check. Fire support causing chaos on the front lines, check.

Nowadays, the game has plateaued with players basically rushing and gunning with entirely no coordination nor teamwork. Vanilla co-op has gotten so easy that I had to move on to community servers where the bots are actually aimbotting you for an actual challenge, if not BS. The game mode "Checkpoint" also has grown repetitive since it is the same maps with the same objectives. So long as you play it enough, you will know the map tricks like the back of your hand.

With the new cosmetics and introduction of the Desert Eagle, I feel this game is throwing away its hardcore identity and appealing to the casual gamer. With some community staff leaving and new developers to take their place, I'm not sure what the future of Sandstorm will be anymore. Hopefully, the next update with the new coop game mode survival will add some freshness to this game, however I fear once I get accustomed to even that, there's nothing else left in this game for me.

Bring more chaos NWI, introduce a weather system to limit visibility, just like an actual sandstorm would do. More vehicles, more fire support. Bring harder bots (not the aimbots tho), randomize the coop objectives, increase map variations, cut casual crap and go back to your hardcore roots!

One of the saving graces left in this game is the modding community, which has made things such as the ISMC mod and modded maps. Unfortunately, if you don't have the storage space and internet speed required for the mods, you're not going to have a great time since mod folder can double, if not triple the game size.

This visual novel is special even among bigger visual novels. One might say: game breaking. Hard to explain, but I won't due to spoilers, so whoever reads this review and has not played it- don't ignore this.

As a person of barely no coding, this game made me feel like hacker. Of course compared to real coding its not.
Soundtrack is amazing, There is a slight learning curve, but once you get the feel of it, its comfortable and thrilling.
