As a big fan of Papers, Please, I was hoping for something similar, yet original. The Grim Reaper setting seems perfectly suited for this concept. Unfortunately, this game aspires to be like Papers, Please, but it fails miserably, as the mechanics just aren't enjoyable.

Each day, you're given a set number of papers with people's profiles, and you have to decide whether they live or die. While the concept has great potential, your decisions are entirely dictated by what your boss wants you to do. If he asks for two people with a scientific background to be killed, you do just that. There are no meaningful moral choices — you're either following orders or going against them, which is equally dull, as you're still simply selecting "live" or "die" based on instructions on a red paper handed to you. Based on the people you choose to kill, a brief newsletter appears on your in-game phone the next day, but I had absolutely no motivation to read it.

The conversations with your boss keep you hoping something interesting will happen, but it never does, and the dialogues themselves are painfully slow. There's also no real incentive to earn money, as it's mostly used to purchase random gimmicks and cosmetic items.

There are multiple endings, so it's possible I missed something that could add depth to the game, but I’m not interested in replaying it. Each run gives you exactly the same, and frankly, it's just monotonous and boring.

Unlike most PC versions of board games, digital Sagrada actually looks good and works really well. I had a lot of fun with the solo campaign and might use it for long-distance play instead of the regular board game sometime.

I can't say much about the PvP multiplayer, as I played it only once to get the achievement.

Such a lovely escape room game!

The graphics and music are great, the rooms and puzzles within them are interesting, and the game doesn't treat you like an idiot by explaining everything explicitly or serving you the solutions on a silver platter. Yet, it provides enough clues to solve all puzzles within a reasonable time (and without the hints).

I absolutely love that you can move all the objects freely and that they don't end up in your inventory like in most other games. For some reason, this makes the gameplay feel much more realistic and enjoyable. Placing the objects on the ground or a table can be a bit tricky, as it requires specific distance from you, but it's nothing too irritating.

This is a perfect example of how a good – no, great – escape room game should look like.

I am quite surprised by the number of positive reviews for this game.

It was clearly designed for mobile phones, and the controls can get really frustrating. Sometimes you need to click, sometimes drag or rotate, which is nice. However, due to the poor hitboxes, you often end up clicking on objects on the opposite side of the screen, forcing you to rotate back.

The game consists of three chapters, and I genuinely enjoyed the first one. It was relatively easy, but I was pleasantly surprised by the non-repetitive and unique puzzles. However, during the other two, the themes, concepts, and minigames became increasingly chaotic and repetitive, making the game more dull and tedious.

The most annoying aspect of the game is the animations. They are boring, unskippable, and not so good looking. Whether it is opening cabinets, watching objects fall, or other actions related to your progress, these animations constantly interrupt the gameplay. You place an object in the correct place and know exactly what to do next, but you have to wait 3 to 5 seconds for the animation to finish before you can proceed.

In each level, you can collect one red, one blue gem, and a scroll with a bit of story text. If you collect all the gems of one colour in a chapter, you unlock a special level. While I like the concept, most of the gems are just lying in plain sight, making them impossible to miss. As for the scrolls, the story is so dull that you will likely stop reading them by the fifth level.

The game’s concept seems promising at first, but the poor hitboxes and clunky controls of the PC port make it a really frustrating experience. It’s definitely not worth spending 15 euros on this.

I have mixxed feelings about this game. Story-wise, it hooked me and kept me interested for the entire duration of the game. I also really like the visual presentation of the dialogues. The graphics and colours are lovely, reminding me of The Witness.

Regarding the puzzles, they can sometimes become very frustrating, especially the last one (I admit, I had to look for a hint on YouTube). The puzzle cubes with gears gradually add new elements, which make them more challenging but also interesting. The core concept revolves around spatial imagination on a rotating cube, which is something unique in contrast to other well-known puzzle games. While rotating the cubes, I often found it hard to keep track of the position of gears on all the walls, and it got even worse after the introduction of more dimensions . That being said, if you keep a cool head and persevere, the eventual solution brings a lot of satisfaction, and it feels really good when the gears fit together and start moving as they should.

Beyond the story line, the game also includes 10 extra levels, which I found to be a great addition to the game. They didn't evoke any negative feelings in me, unlike some of the final levels of the main game.

All in all, if you're okay with the game being purely about the placement of gears on a cube with a basic, gradually unfolding story, then I would recommend it.

Nice little game with interesting maze concepts. I hope to see more like this! Make it 50 mazes and put a prize tag on it!

A good puzzle platformer, the puzzles are satisfying for the most part and the concept itself is something interesting to try for puzzle game enthusiasts. Gradually, enough new elements are added and the solutions get more and more complex, but nothing too challenging. The backgrounds add something extra and liven up the gameplay.

However, I feel that much more could be explored within the concept, especially in the interconnection of the 2D and 3D world, where I see the main potential. Hopefully we'll see a sequel that conceptually builds on the end of the game.
