This has me hooked just on the richness of the world and its factions alone. The faction quests, while telling only one story per race, do so much to flesh out the world of Auriga. At some point these guys need to release an RPG source book so we can take this world to the Gaming Table. Compared to Civ (haven't played 6 as of this writting), I think this does a better job mechanically through its army mechanic and how it handles radial tech trees (especially compared to Beyond Earth). Diplomacy is done very nicely, with much more of a visual emphasis on how the CPU factions regard you and your current stance with them. The DLC Pipeline has also given a very steady flow, giving new content to keep the experience fresh.
