A rare gem of epicness in the recently stale gaming industry. A game that is hard and not dumbed down for casuals as much as all the other games recently. Rewarding skill, timing and strategic thinking. The only draw back i would point out althrough to some its also a plus, is that theres no chat, voice chat or any other sort of communication apart from the gestures and 5 wooden carvings. All the bosses are interesting, some are more challenging than others. A normal player will take ~70 hours to complete the entire game with all the dlc and side objectives. Not to mention the limmitless time one can pour into making different builds, joining one of the many pvp covenants or going to other worlds to help the other players win theyr fights. Solid 10/10 , a real contenter for game of the year. Althrough dragon age inquisition might be a bit better and easier but in my honest opinion dark souls 2 deserves GOTY award many times more than Dragon age inquisition for being more unique, hard and interesting. Through I should mention that quite a few complain that theres no story or that they dont get everything showed down theyr throats but this game is about using your immagination, connecting dots and thinking logicaly. All items have discriptions, npc dialogs and so on tell you the story of the world, not to mention what you see for yourself. So if you pay attention you can learn a lot, while if you just run around you wont be understanding much of the story or anything.

A great sand box game, with a promising future. An interesting progresion of your characters, they dont start as powerfull as is the nowadays norm, infact they are really weak and have to be really carefull and lucky. But suriving long enough in this game brings great joy. The only game i can compare with Kenshi would be dark souls series. They are both really hard, and involve a lot of deaths. Althrought the game is still in alpha/beta stage, I believe that if your searching something new and refreshing, you should try this game. I dont think that everyone will love it or like it but nevertheless its quite a good game with dedicated creators who try to improve the game as fast as they possibly can and give it a lot of love.

This game has an amazing story, well that is a given having in mind that the creators of this game is from Kojiima :). But it nevertheless has a great story which grips you and even afther finishing it you remember it. The characters are quite interesting too, well fleshed out. You could say each one is unique in theyr own way. From them, Jetstream Sam, Raiden, Blade Wolf come out as the most interesting atleast for me. Half way into the game you start wondering which one's are the real bad guys here? Each one having theyr own reasons and motivation that you can relate to from your own expierence, point of view makes it even more incredible. Combat is fluided and the ability to cut apart bodies and many objects into pieces is interesting and i think should be used by more games. The skills are varying and the speed of combat is fast. Well the Stealth elements are lacking but as I already said the action makes up for it. I hope to see more of this type of games from Kojima.
