I 100% did not look at anything about this game. I did not like Harry Potter growing up, and I had 0 interest in even giving this game a try.

However, seeing my friends create their wizard and witches, with really good graphics and customization drew me to look at it further. Then a few hour's later, I really wanted to give this game a try and so far it is so good. Best, thing I can compare combat to, is loosely mimicing LOTR Shadow of Mordor/War, and the Batman Arkham games. Again loosely, but it is close enough where it was easy enough to pick up and tuned enough to not feel clunky.

The story requires 0 knowledge of harry potter or anything of that story related to it from my experience so far. Everything is voice acted and everyone seem's to have their own personality, I am very glad I've picked this game up.

The only 'con' so far, is I really do not like the 'pitching' of the voice, to make your character sound different. To me I can easily pick up that it was just put through some cheap filter and even causes a very slight reverb almost. Could be fixed in future updates possibly, but to anyone wanting to go wiht their own personal voice other than the two different default ones, might find that a bit off. Not game breaking or anything.

Amazing game, loved it before it was on steam, continue to love it after.

So as a heavy gmod user I would definitely recommend at least buying this game to help it off the ground. Right now things are pretty bare bones and basic but gmod starting off as what it was a Mod for a Half Life game. The graphics are amazing for unreal engine and should the mods get better the game will be way more open. Right now its been 3 days since initial release and it is missing a lot of things gmod has but gmod has had years to develop. definitely recommend if you wish to find a project worth backing to make it as good or better than gmod.
That being said if you are looking for a full game or a lot of options i would not recommend this but it is a good idea to back it especially with the low price of 5 dollars. I will be watching the development of this game.

Absolutely love this game and the Extinction DLC !!!

There is a new game coming out similar to this in 2014 but i dont think it could top the martial arts combat, freeroam, and just plain old fun. i would reccomend to people who likes Batmans fighting skills but in a hong kong version of Saints Row.
