We had the luck to host Project Planet at one of our Test & Play Showcase events where we playtested the game with multiple people over the course of an evening via a big screen and a living room vibe.

Rik and Sjors, the developers of the game show a lot of passion for Project Planet which is awesome to see, played many games so far with them and also with Nieck the programmer and of course their community members. And they’re always on top of things trying to help out new players and/or making changes that the community think the game needs, or at least considering them. Making sure that no player is left behind!

To start off the review, I would like to mention that playing with your friends or others is the absolute most fun way to play this game!

The game can be played with 5 AIs that will take care of the roles and will give you a good insight of the game, or to play and test new strategies that you would want to implement, but who doesn’t want to have their friends fight a battle between themselves while you pick them off billion by billion!

To get started, just simply go to projectplanet.tv when the master screen is hosting the important information and code for you. You can play the game both via your PC web browser, or a web browser on your phone. Making it ideal to play with your friends at home behind the TV, or even in a bar with a beamer, as you can see on the picture above!

There are multiple strategies for both the Earth player and the Humanity players to either have Humanity survive or to let Earth succeed into getting humanity to go extinct.

While playing you will notice that you can have multiple choices within the game that can either positively or negatively impact your own but also others their roles, the population and/or the Ecosystems and Pollution.

Next to that Humanity also has a Positive and a Hostile ability they can use to get or give more power or to restore the population or/and ecosystems & pollution. Power makes your choices more powerful, for example if you want your own role to thrive and you choose something extremely egotistical you can you want high power to have higher outcomes, as the person with the most power wins if Humanity survives!

It might take you a couple of games to get into it, but there are ? help pointers everywhere when you are playing and as mentioned before the developers and community are super helpful in getting players to play the next fun match of Project Planet.

Watch out because you will find yourself sinking 30 hours into the game just playing and making memes with the developers.

For Accessibility Options, the game is easily playable on handheld devices when joining someone and the game is fully audio lined with beeps that will let you know when something important happens or if it is your turn. There currently are no subtitles to news articles, as far as I have seen. But there are text articles as well, that do have their headlines read out to you.

If you ever have feedback for the game, you should just let the developers know, as they will always answer!

Just played the first chapter and can say that I'm already looking forward to play the other chapters.
The beauty of the Art style that is hand painted water colors, and the story from the game hits home.
It also helps that it's portraying Dordogne, France as it's such a beautiful country where my roots are at.

I actually shed a tear in the first chapter, something I haven't done with a game in a long time. But the story is so relatable and kind of sad, but in a good way. You want to play more of this games, and the gameplay mechanics themselves are also just wonderful and unique! Overall just a great game to lose yourself to.

SPY!

Such a great game by an amazing solo developer.
I often can't find the time in my day to write a review on Steam, but will gladly talk about my experience with Netherguild the past years as I playtested the game, helped set up creator broadcasts for Steam Next Fest, tested it on SteamDeck and of course made content myself!

It's one of these games where I thought playing would be really hard with the dice rolls and so forth and I don't think that I would've played it unless I got the chance to playtest it due to my personal genre preferences, but I'm so glad that I did. If something is keeping you from buying it, you should just go for it.
The developer is also super helpful and mindful of people giving feedback, so if you get it in Early Access now, you have a good chance to experience this yourself by reviewing the game and letting him know what could be improved.

Now a bit more about the game itself!
Starting in the overworld hub is already a small management game itself, hire your soldiers for expeditions, buy your necessary wooden logs for your camp fire and more before venturing down.
You venture through multiple levels underground and have the ability to do a lot of tasks like side missions, the main quest, random encounters and of course battling bandits.
The combat is so fun to play with DnD like rolls and the turn-based strategy aspect.

I won't spill the beans too much, but yeah I 100% recommend this game and now that I'm done writing this it's finally time for me to sink some more hours into it, explore the different underground worlds and get that 100% completion on the game!

APICO is an incredibly unique and charming beekeeping sim game that is unlike anything else I’ve played. The game has a laid-back atmosphere, yet it’s still challenging and engaging.

I love the vibrant art style and the lush environments. The game also offers a great range of beekeeping activities, from breeding and collecting to conserving.

I’ve had a lot of fun tinkering with the beekeeping mechanics and discovering new species of bees. I highly recommend this game to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable experience.

Afterparty is an absolutely phenomenal game that I've had the pleasure of playing. It follows the story of Milo and Lola, two best friends who find themselves in hell after they've died. The game is full of humor and witty dialogue, making it an enjoyable experience.

The puzzles are rewarding, encouraging you to think outside the box and come up with creative solutions.
The visuals are stunning and the soundtrack is excellent.

Overall, Afterparty is an amazing game with a great story and lots of fun puzzles. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an entertaining and engaging experience.

An amazing Western linear story game that has you engage in uppercutting monsters and Vampires.
The combat is very fulfilling and the game gradually explains the multiple possibilities to engage in combat and what the world has to offer lore-wise.

The Cowboy SciFi crossover is something that I definitely needed, will be playing this game until the end and then again, and again!

Awesome prologue.
Easily has 3 - 4 hours content and has me wanting to buy the game in an instant.
The mechanics feel very realistic and helps you learn the way around the technical aspects of a motorcycle.
Can't say that I had anything but fun with this one.
Fully completed it 100%.

I saw some people stating it should work when everything is linked.

So I figured I would test it out for science, I checked if everything was linked (it was), and the game still doesn't recognize me as a subscribed player.

This is after 1 day of being 'subbed'.

Don't get this if you want to sub, you'll just end up contacting support either way.

(I tested to buy Cartel Coins firstly, which did work, so that was very strange, but one of the things that gave me hope that this would work)

I anticipated Gamedec to be a good game, but now after finally playing it, I can say it was way better than I hoped it to be. I easily spent 12+ hours since starting it for the first time yesterday and finished 1 of the story outcomes.
I played the demo about 9 months ago my YouTube coverage states and for the demo you were thrown into investigating the death of Ken Zhou. In the full game, there was a lot more that came to mind and it really shaped a unique story that I want to replay multiple times to get the multiple endings.

The game features a top down camera mode and graphically looks very pleasing, the game is mostly about choices matter and leveling up your professions as a Gamedec so you can choose different approaches such as cheating in a game, being a programmer, being famous, etc.
As a Gamedec you will get jobs that throw you into the Virtualium to investigate glitches and more, but you end up seeing that Virtualium and Realium will become the same thing.
You jump into the cases to find clues and with these clues you will be able to make certain deductions, which will alter the story.

The game story takes you through 3 different game worlds next to the futuristic world of the city of Warsaw and the game editor world. The 3 games will have you take up investigations, but you will also be able to play the actual games of the game worlds you are visiting, for example, you will have to farm pumpkins and strawberries in Harvest Time, one of the game worlds.

This was one of my first choices matter games that comes close to a Visual Novel and that I was really invested in. I would definitely recommend picking it up if you are a fan of anything cyberpunk genre related.
The game features a lot of different achievements that you can earn which makes it very replayable.
