A great story isn't funny, happy or sad. It's everything, it's complex, it's difficult to swallow, makes you think, feel and question your own values. In the end, a great story sticks with you. And this is a damn good story.

Thank you, Nomada Studios. I knew this would be an intense experience. You outdid yourselves.

So, this is a review of The Cosmic Wheel Sisterhood. How should I start? With the pros and cons? Talking about the graphics, the music, the narrative? Saying how much I liked this game? Because all of those I can do, I have done them in the past. But now, I feel something has changed in me. I changed and this game solidified that change in me.
There’s always an anxiety for playing a game the best way possible. Minmaxing everything, doing all the side quests to level up your character, doing all the achievements. If you are a gamer, you know what I’m talking about. And in visual novels there are also “good” gameplays and bad routes. And you always want to get the best route first and then you do other routes or watch them on Youtube.
Well, you sort of can do that in The Cosmic Wheel Sisterhood, but there’s no “good way” to play this game. Just follow your intuition, or you can battle against fate, try to cheat the system, hone your deck, gather a lot of energy, do a good and bad route. In the end, nothing matters. Fate is fate, you don’t have all in control, things will happen and the game will end.
But, and here’s what makes this game so good, but you can also learn from it. You can also let it change you, let it hurt you, let it make you anxious, let it make you annoyed, then, you will also let it make you feel joy, surprise, happiness, laugh and a warm feeling in your chest.
In the end, you can play it smart or let it teach you some wisdom.

I'm a therapist and man, this game hits so hard. I'm glad I discovered it and urge to play it in blindness.

An excellent party game. Short enough so it doesn't get stale, a nice mix of strategy and randomness that makes you engaged if you are competitive or wondering the most ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ combo you can do.
In the end, a well rounded experience.

You like Douglas Adams? You like Terry Pratchett? You like namedropping? You like having a sensible chuckle or two?
Then this game is for you, just buy it.

This is a whole experience on itself. Not just a deconstruction of the roguelike card games, it's a well crafted narrative that fuses the RCGs and escape rooms. With a lot of twists and false herrings, everything in this game has it purpose: the gameplay, the puzzles, the story, the characters, the music and the shifts in graphics.
Play the demo if you want to try the game before purchase it. I bet you will get hooked.

Today Proyect Pegasus was blown wide open. Now we have the proof that a wide array of journalist and political activist were/are being surveilled by their governments through private companies.
Watch Dogs 2 made that same warning. Although the presentation was shallow, I think is a worthy effort to make public such a serious threat to our rights.
The gameplay is interesting, a mixture of GTA and hacking. But that's where the comparisons between those two franchises stop. No, this is not just a GTA with hacks, the hacking abilities have their reasons and are well implemented (except the stealth sections). Also, Ubisoft tried to make something with a statement and not just another nihilistic game where everyone are broken humans, and I can respect that.
If you like open world games this is a must just for the story.
