One of the best games/mods i ever played

This mod is full of suprises, i played that game for only 5 hours but section i crossed i got suprised by new things getting introduced or just fun references

Not many game/DLC's made an impact on me like Phantom liberty, the amount of content, the story, the choices, the side quests and gigs and the thrilling endings, priced at €29.99 feels even low for the amount of time I sank in this DLC + the 2.0 update, for this pricing you get more than almost all triple a titles released in the past years

Sad to see so many people trashed the game, because of the sloppy launch, now with patch 2.0 it's one of the best games I ever played and probably ever play.

Worth every penny/Eddie, it feels immersive, voice acting, gameplay, impactful choices, visuals, amount of gameplay that can be done, secret dialogue or secret gameplay bits

After playing all the heists in the game, here is my opinion, coming from a payday 2 veteran.

Pro's
- Only 8 heists, but almost all are good crafted, except the second one, that is loud only, stealth and loud in the heist are so different that you can even consider there are 15 heists in the game
- Gun play is solid
- tried to implement some story in the game
- difficulty is back to payday 1 style (I like this better)
- Less horde swarm (quality over quantity cops/specials)

Con's
- Like most already said, online is a very Bad system (with capital B) since server downtime or own internet issue's can cause that you can't play the game single player or have lag spikes in heists
- I am not going to try comparing it to Payday 2 with almost 10 year DLC/dev time, but I find some features lacking from the game like preplanning, basic skill tree's, less interesting mechanics for building your heister (more cosmetic than feature's)


Like I said, I played a lot of Payday 2 and I do not consider Payday 3 a bad game, also for the base price 39,99 it's cheaper than AAA, but in the state it's right now I can't recommend the game, it's fun if you can play it, but if the servers are down then its hopping to another game, I think the server downtime is going to be fixed/already fixed, so the game is playable, but an offline mode would be a game changer.

Also, if this gets life support long as Payday 2, then we have a bright future for this game to turn it around.

Suggestions
- Preplanning for most heists
- Rework skill tree for an actual skill tree and not small % buffs like perk-tree's (perks that unlock new ways to play the game)
- level system on equipment can go if you ask me, a different way of unlocking attachments would be nicer than just grinding

As soon as they fix most issue's this review will be switched to positive :(

For €29.99 it's quite pricey, since it is still an early access game, that has it fare share of visual bugs and small AI glitches.

Pro's
- Best police simulator on the market that I am aware of
- Good UI
- Graphics are well done
- Lot of variation in violations and crimes
- Actions that can be used on NPC's are quite accurate to real life law enforcement
- Roadmap for 2023 of free content and transparent, what you can expect from it (in headlines)

Cons
- Quite pricey (€29.00) without sale and DLC, perhaps future DLC
- Visual clipping bugs in actions
- AI bugs
- Few hints that can't be turned off, if you play on simulation mode, most hints what people do go off, but a few things are
made important, so the game still tells you, and you can't see the most of those behaviors, cause there are not visible
animations for it
- Performance not optimized, especially in first person vehicle mode
- multiplayer has it fare share of bugs, not recommended, future patches for this are announced

All around, fun experience 7/10, due to pricing, buy it with small or big sales

Halo is one of my fav shooters and it is finally on pc

Well its quite a mixed review of B3

Pro
- Gunplay is great
- Graphics are good
- A lot of quality of life changes since borderlands 2 like insta ammo buy
- Sanctuary 3 is nice

Cons
- Story sucks
- No element like slag or ice not really special
- Enemy variation is terrible trough the game since its always the same there are almost no beasts like spiderants and skags in the main story only bandits and maliwan is just spammed on locations that does not make any sense
-3/4 DLC suck only handsome jackpot is a classic borderlands dl worth
- Enemy are bullet sponges
- Bosses are just boring bullet sponges except the bosses of some side quests and in the beginning
- Getting spammed by legendary's at high mayhem but you only need to farm for the special roll on them most of the base legendarys are heavy underpowerd on base

Borderlands 3 4/10
Handsome jackpot 8/10 (i would rate it a 10 if they didden't ♥♥♥♥ up the classic loaders in to boring bots)
Hammerlock wedding 2/10 (just boring and bullet spongy bosses and enemys)
Gunslinger dlc 1/10 (way ti short and only new characters no characters of the main game like any other dlc)
Krieg mayhem 2/10 (way to short no sidequests at all)

Just my humble opinion
i would not reccomend the game at all for full price maybe at 50%
and if you want to play DLC only pay for the Handsome jackpot the others you gonna play 1-2 times and then your to bored to ever play them again

Best looter shooter around since it released
only negative point i could think of is that the engine of the game doesen't supports its own physics option well

Great game if fan on post-apocolyptic games shooting and enemies are still a bit weird but it its still early access
