its skyrim. i was a fool

very good reimagination of the first half life. Xen is just baller, and the rest of the game is just a super sweet recreation.

Left for Dead is a great game for both playing alone, and with friends. Adding mods from the Steam Workshop also "enhances" the gameplay experience by quite a bit. There is a lot of great maps out there, as well as mods for models and honestly, watching master chief slaughter a mcdonald's happy meal is just, a site to behold.

Hard slog to get into, but once your into it, its a blast. Of course presuming you don't run into bush wookies with the latest all one color/black legendary skin, or the set of three hillbillies sitting in a barn nearby while you get killed by a team who takes bounty and leaves them alone, or you don't run into hackers. That last one though, its rare from how much I've played. Out of all the games I've played Iirc only two games had someone who was walling.
Most people are fighters, so combat is fun. It has an interesting pace to it since every gun is single/lever/bolt action so people cant just run up on you and dump a 30 round mag into your face easily. Melee is actually viable, and the guns all kill. There isn't a bad gun in the game to my knowledge barring some of the aperture sighted rifles since that sight is just hard to use. Plus, one of the other really nice features of the game is that since every gun can kill just about as good as any other (of course taking niches into effect) the guns that cost 900 hunt dollars(the dolch) wont super out perform a single action nagant revolver. While yes, the Nitro Express can one shot to any part of your body, it only has 6 rounds for it, and its so clumsy to use that you can usually out perform it with a winfield or any bolt action rifle. I dont mean to say the "just dont get hit" logic but, its kinda how it be. The spread of guns in the game is nice too. Healthy mix of weapons from breach loading rifles of the civil war, to the mosin nagant rifle that the soviets used heavily. Each has its own niche and playstyle but they arent so heavily out of focus of one another its really just a tradeoff of round capacity, reload speed/fire rate and type(shotgun, rifle, etc). That being said as well, if your not playing at the tip top of the playerbase, you actually see a really big spread of weapons that people bring. My group on occasion will run bows and swords just to mess around for a game or two, and you see that with other people.
At the top its sweat, tryharding, running the latest camo that makes you hard to spot, etc. But, at the mid-level you actually see some crazy stuff. People trapping out buildings and barrels, theres bomb lances running wild and getting killioniares. Theres people who run two double barrel shotguns to mess with peoples minds. Its a lot like sports. Highschool level is hard to watch, since nobody knows whats going on, and professional just feels boring since they play the meta so well. College is where its at since theres a lot of meta, but also a lot of not knowing whats going on and an added amount of risk since people are willing to try new things.

The game is a solid, 7-8/10. for a modern game, not having to store like, 500 gb on a M.2 drive just to be able to load in before the game ends, and not needing a 30 series GPU to get a stable 60 fps is a god send. It runs well, it handles well, its fun, and its just, interesting. You dont see many games in this style anymore since everything is slowly becoming a copy.
The UI is terrible though. Why cant I drag items into different slots???

Quite a solid game

Its a extraordinary game with friends. Takes forever to get through and honestly thats okay.

This game is a blast to play, either solo or with friends. The graphics may look dated or just flat out ugly to some, but really try to look past this, as this game is going to be more dynamic and intense than any other survival game out there. Do you want a full medical system in play, where any small cut could become infected with the zombie virus, or just infected in general, and have to stay home instead of looting and gathering supplies while your body heals? Thats in the game. Do you want a game where you have to take care of your characters mental state? Oh yeah thats here. Pro tip, dont drink a full bottle of Ketchup. The game is so incredibly deep that you wont understand it all on your first run, or your first 10 runs. But you learn every time and get just a bit better.

Jumped in Played 2 rounds of 5's with 5 mates, died pretty quick.
2 got of, played fives with 3 for 4 more rounds one more got off
Played duos with me and another, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ best time of my life. You got one friend, and you like the H1Z1 style, This could be a good pickup for you. Like third person/first person, arena style, no respawn shooting games? Could be a pick. After the first few games, things make sense, and what to do and gather. Give it a few games, and let the adrenaline flow
